  1. Before Kozzie we had Davey, before him we had the Wiz. There’s always someone coming through the ranks.
  2. 2 weeks rest 4 weeks no contact- just a perfect example of the journalistic license they use to create a story out of nothing. Im pretty sure just about every AFL player is about to take 2 weeks leave. I know a WA AFL player was in a panicked state yesterday, couldn’t find his passport and is due to fly overseas tonight. Said passport located in early hours this morning. As D11 said Max is the player you’d least worry about having a rest. I have no doubt he will use the non contact week s to get strong conditioning base in
  3. Welcome to the Dee’s Amelia.
  4. Welcome aboard Maggie.
  5. Welcome to the Dee’s Molly
  6. Makes absolute sense, so many scoring drives come off the back of turnovers and quick movement by taking grass or by foot off the launchpad is the way teams set this up

That’s not correct with regard to McDonald, he was open to a move to Victoria and not just back to Perth.

Yes I understand that but if he’s going to go, they would cash in for the 2025 draft as opposed to a compromised draft

No they won’t and like others they have been speaking to him for a while

Thanks Goodwindees, makes a lot of sense. Hearing Bombers will offer Reid a massive deal and also have 2025 picks and future picks to get a deal done makes sense for West Coast to offer Warner that sort of deal in advance
  11. Would have gone with Spreadsheet
  12. Cheers to all track watchers for the info very much appreciated
  13. Very similar to what happens in WA
  14. I tend to agree and we’re all entitled to our opinion and there’s a bias in how we each view things, leading to assumptions and people maybe seeing what they want to see I would consider CP was somewhat a little anxious (despite having a clear the air address with the group) about how he’d be received on return. Heā€s spoken about his concerns with the club previously about letting standards drop and why wouldn’t he just come back head down and be as professional as you can in setting/maintaining standards. Itā€s not his role to sell the club, I’ve seen this man in games this year almost try and carry the team across the line on his own in a refusal to lose. The man went back out on the ground on KB for the team when he clearly wasn’t right. I’ll never question his commitment to be the best player he can be and if he sets a bar on standards for others to follow I like that. If he performs on the ground for us whilst building his own brand off field to set up his future I’m okay with that. I just want to get back to being a side who you know will bring effort, accountability, team first and a buy in that we can see they are playing to a plan each week
  15. Biggest thing is across the board buy in on team first It was evident in 2021 needs to get back to that fine balance between me/we - do your job for the team
  16. Petty, Oliver, Fritsch and Sparrow all need good years and if they do and our regular players stay on the park we will go well. Jefferson and the new boys just need a bit of exposure and opportunity to develop under the more experienced players
  17. I would imagine Simon would remain in Perth, his boy Sonny heading in to Yr 11 and settled in school. Be surprised if he moved
  18. Took longer then I expected but the Genius that is ā€œChris from Camberwellā€ finally called Dwayne to ask why Melbourne wouldn’t consider Longmire

We drafted our Premiership Captain that’s how I look at it, yes we made some errors but we aren’t Robinson Crusoe there
  20. I’m putting Cody Curtin in that group by seasons end, upside of this kid is huge
  21. Love reading this, it is absolutely the small things, which become habit that create discipline and everyone understanding and maintaining minimum standards
  22. I believe so, Gaff had great endurance to repeatedly get involved in transition chains but I don’t believe he had the capability by acceleration or penetration/depth of kicking to break lines or be really damaging
