  1. This is like when you’re trying to convince yourself Santa is real
  2. Posters who don’t understand the little things, mate we have posters on here who absolutely don’t understand anything about the game since it moved on from kicking from contest to contest
  3. Yep like for like, absolutely NFI, however many years you’ve been watching footy, please put it on your tombstone “Here lies PF who spent ??? Years of his life watching footy and wasted every minute of it”
  4. You know his response is going to be tackle stats, if it’s not in the stats you need to know what you’re looking at

Why would you even contemplate trying to reason with a clueless (in the terms of footy acumen) poster. His posts have become laughable with absolutely zero balance or credibility
  6. Watched him play for VIC Metro vs WA at Leederville Oval in his draft year and loved what I saw, as he moved up to the pointy end towards the draft I was sure the Saints, would take him, so glad we got and still have him. Congratulations Trac
  7. He’s been at every game I have attended in the last 25 to 3 years in Melbourne or Perth
  8. Is Ryan the blonde guy who’s always front and centre of the cheer squad
  9. Losing both him and Petty after the game against Sydney in 23 were massive impacts on our flag chances that season and very late for us to try and readjust
  10. So many contributors great team effort brought effort, intensity and did the small 1%ers really well. 6.Melksham 5.Gawn 4.Bowey 3.Trac 2.Kossi 1.Clarrie Rivers, Turner,Langdon all could have got votes

Did you see it, handball chains, hitting the 45s, moving the ball quickly which has been on show for 5 weeks. Playing at different speeds slow chipping when needed to work through zones, then going quicker honouring the run with handball as opposed to bombing it into 50 to create forward stoppage, which was the 21-24 model. And continued handball to work it into space. Not to mention we bring a lot more pressure across the ground That’s not to say we don’t still have a contested side but we are far more balanced at the stoppages than we were previously
  12. Fast forward to next week and the usual suspects question team selection yet again

If you actually think our system is kick it long down the line to Max you haven’t been watching us or you don’t know what you’re watching
  14. Except for the parts where Freo played a totally different game style to GWS Slow switch maintain possession as opposed to taking grass and speed on the ball off half back and good players by foot getting the ball in quicker favouring forwards. So it’s not so much Hogan playing a different style it’s the teams he was in who played completely different styles
  15. I heard Chris from Camberwell on the radio the other day, referring to Jefferson as a future star, has anyone ever seen Picket Fence and Chris in the same room (asking for a friend), the way they talk about footy seems familiar
  16. Another ridiculous comment from you on Jefferson and inconsistent as expected with your views on other players Thrown to the wolves, FFS it’s called getting an opportunity. Some grab it some don’t. Plucked from obscurity for Christ sake have a look at yourself. I know you badly want him to make it to fly your flag, but despite some glimpses in Rd 1 there are concerning signs of a real lack of intensity and fight
  17. Maclure also played some junior footy at Riverton inWA
  18. 6.Gawn 5.Langford 4.Bowey 3.Trac 2.Lindsay 1.Rivers Pickett, Mcvee and Windsor honourable mentions
  19. You can’t be serious asking Swyl a question about the game or anything to do with tactics. The king of quotes he heard on World of Sport
  20. Agree, he’s not Max(nobody is) but he offers a lot and points of difference. Freo may now improve by fate rather then strategy. Darcy, Jackson, Treacy, Amiss and Voss is way too top heavy and why 62 inside F50 entries equates to last nights score. I think Darcy being injured and Amiss so out of form will see Jackson, Treacy and Voss as the talls they go with producing a match better balance
  21. Ryan Reid, Ned Moyle and Jed Walter are just 3 reasons
  22. Yes agree, however I see his progress w in terms of glimpses of his former self and especially buying into team structure as a big positive
  23. Agree totally media should be respecting his privacy
  24. He was however the Clarrie of old in that 3rd quarter against Richmond. He showed what an impact he can have when he is on
  25. Yes, come on a lot in the last 12 months after long period out of the game. Ruck craft is developing nicely has soft hands and starting to move a lot better around the ground as he grows into his body. Can also rest forward and impact the scoreboard. Currently around the 203cm height with some more growth to come I would suspect
