  1. Old school journalists used to report the news, I swear nowadays they make the news
  2. If you want a key tall for 2 years time look no further than Daniel Curtin in this years draft, this kid is special. It”s not just his KPP attributes, the decision making and poise this kid has for a tall are something I’ve not seen in many players. I’m talking Pendlebury type poise and awareness of what is happening around him. Can play at either end with CHB probably his best position
  3. What you neglected to say was 10 of the 97 picked have played more games than Salo and Dom Sheed (1game) and James Aish (2games) have only gone past him this season Clearly a glass half empty kind of person
  4. Bad night, teams have them. Let’s see how they back up this week
  5. His brother kicked 2 for Claremont colts today in their last pre season hit out by doing exactly the same thing. Pressure with second efforts at ground level were exceptional. Missed a few set shots but was rewarded with 2 for his hard work
  6. 6.Lever 5.Brown 4.Hunter 3. Spargo 2.Oliver 1.Rivers
  7. Not at JVR’s current size in terms of build, but height and size is the same as JVR at the same age
  8. WAFL season starts in 2 weeks, think JVRs younger brother Sam, will start getting spoken about a little. Put together good pre season, good size, endurance and like JVR in his attack on the contest in the air and at ground level
  9. 6.Gawn 5. Trac 4. Lever 3.Kossie 2. Clarry 1. Rivers
  10. No he isn’t, terrible journalist like Caro, report doom and gloom, with nil footy intellect
  11. Contrary to what many on here think, he’s a good footballer with smarts, skill and good vision
  12. It’s actually the better end of the ground to watch from, you won’t be looking into the sun. Last time I was seated at that end of Optus was 25/Sep/2021 what a day/night that was
  13. It’s Easter Sunday, so don’t be surprised if they do actually release seats
  14. Exactly 33 degrees 1st hit out for the season different set ups and tempo etc
  15. Reading the game day thread, clearly others haven’t lost their’s absolutely some gob****e comments, but mostly by the usual suspects
  16. Agreed, injury breeds opportunity for others
  17. Thanks for all the updates, looking forward to the real stuff starting. Not long to go now
  18. They are fitter and will start the season well, however they lack depth in the midfield and whilst they have some good kids coming through they will tire IMO along with the older players like Yeo, Shuey, McGovern and Darling who struggle to get through seasons without wear and tear injury
  19. Thanks Picket for the report, although I had to pick myself up off the floor upon reading positive commentary directed towards Spargo
  20. Just happy we managed to get to 9 wins in 2020 and Goody kept his job for 2021
  21. Nothing helps them, they only see the negative
  22. I actually think Sparrow has a big future with us because he will leave no stone unturned to improve and get the most out of himself. Coaches love players with those traits at any level
  23. Cheers to all the track watchers on the reports
  24. Thanks Daisy for your service onfield and off whilst at the club. You’re a legend of the game and no doubt will be deservedly inducted into the HOF. You have been a breath of fresh air in the commentary box and I wish you and your family all the best in the next chapter of your life
