  1. They don’t even know what season they will be coming in at this stage, yeah we lost Jackson, Wiz and Thompson over the years but back the culture and take the best available
  2. One WA boy attracting attention as bolter. Previously a ruckman been turned into key defender. Raw with athleticism and a project player for clubs as late pick https://wafl.com.au/player/zane-zakostelsky
  3. I won’t go into my observations on him, but it’s certainly a lot more than the footage shown above
  4. They’ve still got Bec Judd😂😂😂
  5. One of the best I’ve seen come through WA in a long time
  6. Yes but we still would finish 3rd, I’d much rather Port over there than the Lions at the Gabba
  7. It’s not, Collingwood win and we win our next 2 we can finish above Brisbane
  8. Not really a good idea to rest players vs Swans even if top 4 is sewn up, that’s 2 weeks off and win your first final and come prelim it’s 1 game in a month
  9. Toby Green, Papley or De Goey are opposition players I dislike, whilst admiring their ability at the same time. The positives each of them would bring are obvious. Have no dislike towards Nick Daicos, love watching him play and the way he opens up the game, him in our side either creating off half back or through the middle would be outstanding. Anyone who doesn’t rate him, well that says more about them and what they aren’t seeing. Takes a lot of different dynamics to make a sound team
  10. The club is septic, some changes have occurred but a lot more required. I was involved there last season and have many Perth followers as mates and after being in the inner workings of the club was able to see a number of the issues. Very similar to us under Schwabby and the boys club. A lot of self preservation amongst the group behind many of the long term issues and until they move on it won’t change. I’m aware there’s conflict between Germo and the FM and that’s not surprising. Hopefully they get their house in order soon
  11. It’s a narrow view and may speak more of where and who you were socialising with. You’re talking 20 years ago, but even then clear didn’t venture to Freo, Cott or Scarborough on a Sunday.
  12. Who’s he playing for DD
  13. The umpires see him winning the footy and around the stoppages, where it ends up is probably the issue they don’t take into account
  14. Edwards is a Tim English clone, but more advanced (due to Colts and senior exposure) than English was when he was drafted
  15. Can not start against Carlton like we did yesterday they would have the game won by quarter time if we allow them to dominate the clearances. Work needs to go into our forwards set up and entries this week. Make Weitering accountable and have to play on an opponent. Also prevent Docherty, Newman and Kemp from running off their direct opponent to impact the contest. If Clarry is cherry ripe Trac plays predominantly forward. Hibbo comes in potentially Smith plays forward to make Weitering accountable and Melk gets a defensive job on Docherty/Saad
  16. 6.Trac 5. Gawn 4. Viney 3. Kozzie 2. Hunter 1. Nibbler
  17. Claremont threw Curtin forward in the 4th when the game was in the balance, I’m biased but he’s the one I’m taking if he’s there. It’s Pavlich I’m seeing 24 years later
  18. SVR was good today for Claremont colts, without impacting the scoreboard as he could have his workrate around the ground and contested marking was excellent Koen Sanchez for East Freo was good, clean at ground level, excellent decision making and inside 50 disposal/score involvements very good Dan Curtin was outstanding in his senior debut played down back, where he’s a natural and showed why he’s so sought after.
  19. Absolute freak athlete and a gun footballer. Was great to watch him at his best.
  20. Back your form, win the next four and hit September off the back of 8 in a row and let the boys freshen up in the pre finals bye. Manage their time on ground if anything
  21. It may have something to do with we just won a game with a fairly impressive performance and the team had a solid second half with a dominant final quarter but you choose as is regular with you, to focus on a negative
  22. Yep and @Clint Bizkit the prize comment “ANB finished the game as he started, with a turnover”. It’s akin to a player getting drafted and clubs and supporters saying how did we not draft him when we had the opportunity. Well your recruiter’s probably focused on what he couldn’t do as opposed to what he could do
  23. 6.Gawn 5.Viney 4. Trac 3.Trac 2. JVR 1. Melk/Langdon
  24. Good win, they came hard and like the crows did with us last week we just never let them get away when things weren’t going our way. We are an experienced side and stood up when we needed to. Some very important players hitting form at the right time. Clarry, Fritsch and Sparrow all to come in. Forward line mix today with Fritsch added is probably the one we go with
  25. Couple of the usual suspects no faith. Good win and some important players hitting form at the right time
