How typically Melbourne Brodie Grundy
Ffs talk about clutching. Who needs journalists to kick us when we’re down when we have our own supporters. Gawn is not now or ever will be a forward and neither is Grundy, if you think differently you have NFI

Time for a Change….Don’t wait another 2 years…
Yet 2 years ago Demonland was lauding Chico for providing this. I don’t by that either way it’s never simply that black and white

Time for a Change….Don’t wait another 2 years…
You need a mix of inside bull and speed in the middle or you need to get speed on the ball with your movement. Windsor, Rivers, Kozzie have it and we have shown interest in Cody Angove so no doubt the list is moving towards having more leg speed

These were the points for pondering in bringing it up a) LDU has not got nearly close to Oliver levels in terms of consistency, game impact, ability and standing in the game b) Is Oliver part of the current problem there appears to be a disconnect in the group c) LDU has started to show some more consistent glimpses of his ability is he just about to reach his potential d) Is Oliver at a point that without a change he will never get back to the levels he has been before e) Sometimes you have to give to get f) Love Oliver and everything he’s given us but if the outcome benefits both he and Melbourne I’m not against it and some deals are win wins for both clubs

Question for Deelanders North come to you and offer LDU straight swap for Clarrie. Clarrie says he wouldn’t mind a change of scenery Do you do it? There’s a few extra points to ponder re this I would add pros and cons but will see the responses first

Welcome to Demonland: Luker Kentfield
I don’t think he’s ready, he had an interrupted pre season. He really stepped up last season for Subiaco seniors when given an early taste to the point both he and Kolt were mainstays in the side. Thought he may have been picked up last year but wasn’t. Think with a good pre season he has some potential

Welcome to Demonland: Luker Kentfield
It’s a myth Darling’s form in his draft year wasn’t great. He went from rag dolling opponents as an underage player in colts the previous year to playing seniors in his draft year where he really struggled against older stronger opponents. This is where I believe recruiters had doubts on his ability to transfer his junior form to senior footy. Maybe in hindsight it assisted him in learning and developing an understanding of how to play against bigger bodies

Dees Down But Not Out
I love your optimism Bin, but can’t see it myself. However I’m also aware of the big picture and it’s not all doom and gloom. Our flag tilts long term don’t die with the end of May and Gawn’s career’s as others seem to think.

Dees Down But Not Out
We do but our personnel is a little more banged up than Carlton’s was last year. That’s not to say that hard decisions and setting things in place don’t assist us to progress and evolve for next year in a similar fashion to 2020/2021

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
There’s also the consideration that he knows clubs are trying to run him up the ground where he can be less influential as an interceptor, which without Lever to cover is amplified. So is he hesitant in thinking I know what they are trying to do, is this a position I need to run to?. Can my opponent hurt us if he marks the ball that high up the ground

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
a) Players clearly shot confidence wise, Goody ain’t going to come out and slate them in the press conference just to twist the confidence knife b) The players got a fair rev up after the west coast performance, it doesn’t work repeatedly c)A 6 goal win based on what exactly players out, have you watched Collingwood since Round 3 it’s a game plan they are invested into it’s not about who is in or out it’s a process and backing it d) We tried to change how we play because the FD hit the panic button after 2 finals straight set exits, they threw the baby out with the bathwater and went to far away from our DNA, and IMO players lost confidence in that style of play being to foreign from what they were used to. There’s also the other issues of Smith, Oliver and Brayshaw’s retirement. I think we got an early them against us boost from Oliver returning but that well has dried up

AFL Mid-Season Draft 2024
Love Luka as a competitor hard as nails and would run through brick walls for you. Lateral movement and pace aren’t strengths, which I think may effect him at AFL level but he is only 18, could he be a Miochek, possibly in a few years. Seen him play against my oldest all the way through junior footy and they played cricket together as juniors super kid who comes from a good well grounded family
