Quite simply that is the best team we've had on paper for freaking years. Whilst it's not really surprising, having really fit and available numbers come H&A time certainly makes a huge difference. I look at that team and think that there's a full team of blokes ready and capable of putting it all out there. I'm tipping the upset of the round. Carn Demons!

I wouldn't be surprised to find out performance enhancing drugs have been part of the AFL for the last 20 years. It's the testing processes and technology improvements that are uncovering it a whole lot more in all sports that actually care to test.

Well said. What's not to say the league environment will see him develop faster? It might only be 3 practice games at VFL level but from all reports he's a class above that. If he's restricted to 'developing' at VFL level footy there's every chance his development will be adversely affected.

I think it ebbs and flows across the league as teams evolve. Scoring in excess of 100 points is always great but doesn't always mean it's a great contest.
