Id rather not get into trade talk/drivel/debate about Hogan. McGovern and Fyfe are better players than Hogan at this point in time. If I was the list manager at the Eagles, the last thing I would do is trade a player as unique as McGovern.

No chance. McGovern is AA and a WA born and bred kid.

I'm loathe to throw up suggested trades for Hogan because I still think he'll stay. However, I can see a multiple of clubs included in doing major deals with the Giants and Suns. Once the Suns get picks for the losses of O'Meara and Prestia, it'll become one of the most interesting trade periods for years.

I'm expecting it because Freo don't hold a second round pick at this stage. I'm sure GWS would be looking at that range so trading of players is a possibility with a third.

Freo are on record that they'll be rebuilding via the draft. McCarthy will come cheap but Hogan won't. I can't see them clearing out their top draft picks and/or a very handy player for Hogan alone.
