Okay, I'll take this as you being on record that Spencer has "reached his ceiling" regardless of his improved training performances and greater fitness, given his uninterrupted pre season thus far.

Posters who can't see particular players finally getting it together and becoming a good reliable player must also wonder why the club bothers with continual development programs. Spencer is clearly moving forward by all reports. That means he's not as useless as he was last year. Kudos to the coaches. It's a real achievement that hopefully transitions into game day performances.

I know it defeats the purpose of revenue to the club, but if you want something 'specific' it's pretty easy to get it produced nowadays.

I think it's great to have the store at the 'G' given the amount of tours etc that out-of-towners and tourists take of the place. It should be the last thing they're taken thru - like any good gift shop. Its l just in a woeful location.

To be honest, I've not taken a whole lot of interest in the Womens comp. I have however posted in the Club thread that young Shelley Scott will be one to watch. Being Colac born and raised, I have direct intel that young Shelley is a loose unit and will be our Jack Viney in the Women's league. I hope the player pool hasn't been too diluted and the women's comp is a winner from the get-go. Failing this, I think we might be looking a few years ahead to see the fruits of the efforts put into the Women's league.

At least there'll be plenty of us to watch it with you.
