  1. Some cracking games this round and I reckon we'll be in for a treat tonight when the Swans cane Adelaide. I just can't see the Crows being hard enough to withstand the Sydney battering rams. Bulldogs v Port game has a big influence on us so it'll be another keenly anticipated match. We then can look forward to the Giants opening a can of whoop-ass on the flat-tracker Eagles and hope for a huge upset with the Suns getting over the top of the Bombers.
  2. If I'm catching a cab, I'll first train it out to Kensington/Flemington way so you're effectively a stones throw to the Tulla. Stopped in at Douta Galla last Sunday for a few pints with me old man before heading to the Airport. However, now with all of the road works it's turned into a fair nightmare and any ideas of a 'clear-ish' run out to the airport are fraught with missing the plane. There's lots of back ways if your cabbie knows their way but again it can be fairly problematic. Agree that the Skybus is the best option from Spencer street but allow the added time given the roadworks.
  3. Apologies I've not caught up on a lot of this thread. Thursday and Saturday night are the elims?
  4. We've probably already done that with Kielty.
  5. Apart from his injured foot, I'm not too concerned that he's out of the team. Having Jones back, particularly if he plays like last week, really picks up the slack in the stoppages/clearance area. Also, with Gus back in the team we've picked up another very handy player who based of last weeks game will help cover any loss Viney presents. A second week of Brayshaw magic is keenly awaited.
  6. It's a miraculous recovery. I can reCall the initial prognosis being 426 because it was fractured in 'multiple' areas.
  7. He is in esteemed company if he also said similar wise words.
  8. Whatever happens, win, lose or draw, I just hope we score more than them.
  9. ah, so you mean Salem. Agree.
  10. Are you seriously putting Oscar into the Dawson category??
  11. Freo are letting go of Zac Dawson if we can't Lever...
  12. I'm a little suspicious of yourself given the approach of a new thread?
  13. This type of player is surplus to our needs. No.
  14. He basically did that on the weekend - hardly got up to the wing. I think Tracc is one of the few who consistently looks for someone open around the F50 as opposed to sending it to the goal square. Gawn's goal and the switch out wide to Lewis are two prime examples. Still, he needs a rest. Sticking out like Dogs...
  15. I think you really overrate Salem. Personally, I believe l he still sits in the Jack Watts type category. Great user of the footy, good decision maker, does the hard stuff every now and then but not renowned for it. The fact that he's been dropped a couple of times this year completely flys in the face of your above statement.
  16. Plane's late to depart. I'm rather drunk. My sister gave me a few Valium in case we lost. Airplane mode.... #Perf
  17. Fully expecting you to bookmark this mate and bump in 2 years.
  18. Deer in the headlights today. I'll give him the time as he deserves. I was more interested in Goodwins appraisal of him given that it was probably worse than what Watts gave us before being dropped.
  19. Liquid paper. In a black and white bottle - can be a bit messy but once you get the hang of it it's just like painting a wall.
  20. Looked lost today. As a power forward Goodwin can't hang his hat on him being a good tackler. Will he make it?
  21. Virgin lounge running low on Fat Yaks. Must be time to board...
  22. Just got to the Doutta Gala for a few quick victory pints before heading home. Super pleased to say the least. ????
  23. Just do the drop and run, Nash. ?
