Congratulations to Daisy and Ben.

Love the message and photo montage of the team behind Bernie. Definition of esprit de corps : the common spirit existing in the members of a group and inspiring enthusiasm, devotion, and strong regard for the honor of the group. The culture this club is fostering is making me very proud to be an MFC member and rabid supporter. Thanks to Bernie for playing such an integral part in the complete turnaround in the club. Such an exciting time. ??

Who are our bottom six? And where do they rate?

Not your best work. -
Yeah nah. I’d be okay with $900K a year for 4 years with the knowledge you’re probably going to play in Grand Finals.
-
James Harmes has bolted to pole position for mine. A fanatical Demon supporter growing up, drafted from the rookie list and now having a break out year when we’ve made finals. I wish I was James Harmes because this kid is living the dream.
-
You’re quickly running out of any cred YOU think you had.
-
Harmes has been terrific I’d still have Gaff over ANB thanks.

Hmmm... Hall?

Based on what, Tom? Usually, if you make a call about something you attempt to back it up with something of a plausible nature - particularly when you’re a journalist. This bloke would get a job at Woman’s Day.

I believe they’re pretty dirty with Israel Folou’s game. -
Great comments by everyone - I have little to add. Just a very pleasing result. We showed today that our pressure and subsequent clearance work today is finals level stuff. James Harmes continues my man-crush. Just superb.

At the airport feeling a bit crusty after Friday arvo work drinks turned into a bender at the local watching some classy girls jelly wrestling. I’m not as pumped as last week but still can’t wait to see the boys at the G. Melbourne here I come. ?? -
Still think Port will win this. Lot of footy to play. Now, where did I leave my beer....?
-
No Darcy Parish either. Wtf

With a Surname like that, I really do hope his teammates have done him the justice of nick-naming him 'Rock'.

Cheers fella's. I've looked at members premium reserved which is an extra ~$25 on level 2A or level 1.. Would you wing it just with GA given the crowd is likely to be around 25 - 30K? The extra $25 is stuff all in the scheme of things but it does equate to 3 beers. -

Travelling over for the game for another hit after last weeks awesome game but need some advice on seating please. I’m assuming my Interstate membership will get me into GA on level 1, 3 and 4 according to the MFC site FAQ’s. Where is the best section and how early would I need to line up to get it. Alternatively, I’m happy to upgrade to a premium seat. TIA -
Had that much gear his brain is practically mush is what I was told by medical expert.

I was thinking that as I was typing it. ?

So are you thinking if we do get him it will be a very sizeable salary that gets it done? We have some potential bait like Kent as a player but then our first round pick this year is the at the Crows and I very much doubt we'll want to trade out a first rounder 3 years running so it begs the question if Kent and a second + third round or something else is enough? Essendon are in a similar position to us after bringing in the all of Smith, Stringer and Saad last year. The only way I can see this happening is by blowing the Eagles out of the park with money. In which case all we need to do is pay more than Essendon if I'm reading this right?
-
Not if the Eagles match any clubs offer it isn’t. Remember he’s restricted.

A quick snippet on 6PR this morning reported by Hagdorn - and this is paraphrasing... West Coast now jockeying for position for a player from either Essendon or Melbourne ‘should’ they match the offer of either club to assist in a trade. What’s making it more difficult is that it’s also looking likely that Lycett will also depart. No mention of North.
