Wow i've seen some interesting assumptions and imaginings on D'land over the years DP but i have have to congratulate you on this one. It's right out there with the best!

Our last 12 seasons, bar one, have ended even quicker WWS.

Played ruck for about 20 minutes approx SK. Looking at the rest of his game he had little to no impact unfortunately.

Can't believe Fagan didn't get Martin back on until about a minute and a half to go. Was a little proppy with about 10 to go and went to the bench but you need to have your best players on the ground, especially the followers, in that last 5 minutes. Nice throw by the Circus which got the ball going forward for their winning goal.

He looks VERY ordinary at best. Another list clogger.

They kept bombing down the line to the area where the Circus had a spare. Silly strat. Then when they finally switched the ball across HB (on one occasion only in the last), they got it to a free in Robertson who instead of keeping the ball live and bouncing up to the Arc, launched it from the wing resulting in a shallow ball inside 50 which was easier defended and that was that.

Would love to have Hipwood playing for us. Weid is in a similar playing role and similar stage in his career but seems to be so far off impacting on a regular basis like this young up and comer. Reads the ball so well and great overhead. Works hard to get front position and to get separation on his opponent for the hit up.

No quarter given by either team....both playing socially unfriendly footy. Robertson's little back slap on Whitfield right in the small of the back where he'd just taken a hit to put him down again. Classic

Fabulous quarter... there's a few GWS players who don't like to work hard the other way too often. Hard working teams who can maintain possession reasonably well will find them out

While i'm not 100% convinced at this point the bloke has shown that he just might offer some X factor and make a difference up forward, albeit still only in short bursts and a long way off B or A grade. Not expecting him to be at this point obviously especially given the interruptions with only about 60 games behind him but he is already 26. A young 26 maybe given the lack of time on the park? Seems to work hard both ways, quite accurate in front of goal. Pressures reasonably well inside 50. Plenty of score involvements, quite good on the ground and average meters gained quite solid as a forward. Disposal a little off AFL level both handball and kicking at this point. Turns it over a little too much as a result. Not a major skew but enough to be a concern. If he can clean up the last part and with a few more pre-seasons/body growing stronger and some more experience, particularly up forward, he just might become a decent 2nd/3rd stringer medium mobile forward who pushes up the ground quite a bit. Depth at Casey initially and added pressure for a spot in the 2nd/3rd string medium/tall role up forward might be handy to keep Weid and Melk honest. Geelong starting to look ploddish and getting caught too far off their men on the turnover. Now who does that remind me of? ?
