Just saw that ... is Don is good!

Ditto but also because i refuse to pay any vendor that doesn't accept legal tender ie; cash. I haven't bought anything from any outlet in over three years now including the outside vendors. The last time i attempted to, i orded half a dozen jam donuts and when lady refused to accept my cash i just walked away laughing. I do the same at all other outlets around town now, unless i'm attending a function that i haven't organised myself as a guest and have no choice.

100% agree. As sure as night follows day it will be overturned! Can't believe so many ppl fall for the AFL circus claptrap so often.
-
He won. Do we get a big screen TV or something?
-
At least any named emergencies that don't get a late call up will be able to play for a change. Imagine wanting to desperately play AFL but also you just love playing and being with your mates at VFL. Then being named as an emergency for weeks on end and not being able to play at either level.
-
Ahhhh ... surely he can do a Cripps and go for the technicality option. Or is that only applicable to the Circus's favs (Carlton & the Filth)?
-
Just don't use the term 'fullo' and you won't have to worry about becoming one! The DLander was adamant it was a very bad nic and should never be used apparently as it infers he is a gun player 🤷♂️ 😄
-
Thanks WC. Warning: Be prepared for some flac when using the nic 'Fullo' as it apparently means (according to at least one DL contributor) that you rate him as a proven player who should always be in the starting 22. P.S. You may also want to avoid sitting alongside 'the DA Bullseye' in future to avoid becoming a potential target due to the above!

Personally i'd be hoping Waterman. It's been a break out season for the mature forward who is now doubling the goal average and goal accuracy of Allen. He also has Allen covered in almost every other metric you choose to look at bar the pressure / tackles inside 50 side, where even here he is running neck and neck with Allen. PSD's 'buyer beware' knee issue post from earlier is also somewhat of a worry. Another BBB in the long haul?
-
And hurt him in the process. Oppo's have been doing that to us for years. See Ryan's mark over Gawn in the goal square in 2018. More of this and unsociable footy in general pls
-
Ditto. Not the greatest in the ruck and isn't kicking goals. Reset for next season with some time at Casey and a full pre-season needed. Was not missed at all on the weekend and we actually looked better all round up forward. Much more mobile and dangerous.
-
Amazing outlook for 19. Good stuff from the Kolt
-
He only averages about 1 hit out to advantage per match. Not the best at ground level either post contest. I agree. He doesn't offer much imho. I'd rather play Fullo and let Rooh focus on his forward efforts & craft. Fullo will also get beaten a fair percentage of the time but will also win the odd tap to advantage a little more often than Rooh. I'd wager about 3 to 5 for Fullo in a full match vs Rooh's 1. I'd rather see Fullo getting pummelled in there anyway vs Rooh. Rooh's just starting to hit some nice form. Last thing we can afford is an injured JVR in a ruck contest that he rarely wins anyway.

The youngsters certainly shone yesterday DZ but of course we need to temper our enthusiasm a tad given the quality of the oppo or lack thereof so to speak. However, i particularly liked the games of Kolt (first half), Rooh, Turner, Moniz and Windsor. Turner in particular i felt some of his 1% ers, contests in the air, plus getting down the opposing end to help out a few times was impressive. Limited in terms of the number of contests he did get to but i just felt he showed very positive steps yesterday vs prior weeks other than his 1st game as a forward. Windsor showed so much maturity for his age i thought. Some of those gathers, his general attack on the oppo plus the finish. And of course Rooh was pretty enormous in patches i thought. Really attacked the drop, played in front quite a bit and could've easily kicked 6 or so. All positive signs but of course there's a more serious contender waiting just around the corner We'll need to stick a hard tag on Merrett who i thought was the difference against the Pies. If he has a game anywhere near that look out. I'd give Chandler a role here throughout the game and just tell him to hassle him out of it at every contest and make sure he's always goal side once the ball enters their 50.
-
Great to see the snake winding his way across the G and bamboozling the oppo using both sides. Go figure! A natural forward who's competent on both sides with a stack of forward gile and skills to boot. I'll take that option any day. Aside from Tracc having a day out playing mostly forward, i'd say Mr Melky's the best forward on our list. He will also be passing on some juicey advice to the young forwards atound him, which is pretty much everyone as he's the oldest on the list

Round 17, 2024 MCG - Demons vs Eagles Old man Rivers has arrived! As many have been calling for for quite a while now, we are quickly seeing the pay off of Rivers being moved into the middle. But only after a forced change with Tracc's unfortunate demise. And what an impact we're seeing already. That's the fifth highest rated game by a Demon for season 2024. Only bettered by Tracc himself three times this season in Rnd 1 vs the Doggies (6.00), Rnd 2 vs the Hawks (6.50) and Rnd 4 vs the Crows (5.92). The only other player to best Rivers superb game today (this season) is Big Maxy in his Rnd 11 master class vs the Saints (the best for the season so far with a 7.20). Rivers also playing his best rated game in the red & blue, trumping his Rnd 4, 2023 match (also against the Eagles) where he posted a lofty 5.55 Let's take a look through his numbers from today: 23 effectives @ 79.3% (AFL ave approx 74%), 3 one percenters, 7 clearances (equal most alongside Kelly), 5 rebounds, 5 inside 50s, 5 tackles (1 inside 50), 9 score involvements (equal 2nd with ANB but behind JVR on 10, the best on the day), 1 intercept, 609 meters gained and only 3 turnovers. Shouldn't we keep her in reserve in case we play a final !?
-
Mel Bourne had that same feeling today Praha and look how that turned out!
-
Great cooler role on Cripps from Bedford. MVP for mine.
-
Well the umps did their best but couldn't get the Blues up. That's one of the best wins of the season.
-
Dont argue... tackled to ground ... no free. Game's conpletely rooted
-
Another disgraceful decision. Perfect tackle. Let go on the way down after the Carlton opponent had incorrectly disposed (dropped) the ball. Instead of a correct free to the tackler he rewards the offender. Such amatures
-
Rolled gold block free to Hogan there. Disgraceful non decision for the certain sealer
