We weren't disgraced, and I was happy with the pressure we put on them. In the end their footskills killed us, and their delivery meant that our defenders had a tough day at the office. Not to mention that both Warnock and Rivers were smashed. This game was always going to be a write off and now the task is to go out and SMASH Carlton.

yeah meeting got pushed back which completely stuffed up the rest of my day which is why I'm only just leaving work. My week has been a bigger fail than the entire back catalogue of the Geelong Advertiser. TGIF!

I'm all for continuing this initiative, but next year we either need to play the Darwin game before the split round (which means we'll need to play Collingwood, then fly to Darwin in the first week of the split round for a game). If that's not possible, we need to get at least a 7 day break, so follow up with a Sunday game and make sure it's at the G to at least balance the difference. This year is not so important because we aren't competing for a finals spot, but this could be the difference between making or missing the finals next season.

I hope we play at our best, no, I hope we play the best we've ever played. That way we might only lose by 10 goals. All I'm realistically looking for on Saturday is a good showing from our backline, and for our forwards to convert every opportunity they gets, because I know our midfield is going to get smashed to pieces.

They'll all be nice and fresh to smash Carlton, and that's the only thing that matters. These guys were no doubt due for a rest so better this week then in a game we can realistically win.

I really hope it's similar to this logo. I used it extensively when I designed the merchandise range, because to me it was beautiful, traditional and quite interesting without having that tackiness factor.

It would make you feel better! You do have to wonder why a footballer has to get it on with a school girl, when he surely has plenty of other more sound choices. Yep, since I can't make it to the game due to a work commitment earlier in the morning, I will just switch off all electronic devices at 2:10 and pretend the game is live when it starts on TV at 3:00. The last time I did that with a Geelong game was the day we won by one point down at Kardinia Park, so who knows, I might be tattooing myself afterall B)

Each week I realise more and more that if it wasn't for my intense love of the MFC, I would loath this competition and never ever watch another game. The inconsistencies, discrepancies and incompetencies of the AFL make Al Qaeda look like a fair organisation. How the f#$% can making non-malicious contact to the head during a very intense contest be worth the same penalty as deliberately and maliciously punching a bloke in the stomach meters off the ball and causing him to come off the ground?

If we win, it might almost be worth deforming myself forever and having to explain to people why I love fruit juice so much that I felt the urge to tattoo it on my body.

If we beat them by more than a point I'll also tattoo "I love Juice" on my boobs and post photographic evidence on Demonland. Seriously, we are no chance.

I'd be thrilled if we lose by less than 6 goals. That would be a seriously good effort. The only way we can win is if Ablett, Scarlett, Bartel and Selwood get injured in the warm up.... Bail-style.
