Jaded No More

Nobody here said we haven't dramatically improved since the dearly departed. Hand down 1000% improvement in every aspect. And nobody here has complained about our forward line, which is good and will become sensational should Clark return and Hogan be the magic we expect him to be. But our midfield is rubbish. We are dead last in the competition for clearances differential. And until we fix the midfield, we will confine to get beaten by good and average teams alike. It's a credit to us that we have managed to get more inside 50s since Craig has come on board, and we are converting well. This is all the more reason to focus all our energies on the midfield, because once that comes together, we will actually be an OK team. Maybe even a good team. But nobody has ever done anything of note with a crap midfield. We don't even have a crap midfield, we actually just have no midfield outside of Jones and a kid with less than 10 games experience. To think how many draft picks we have wasted away, and still, no midfield. None.

I know it sounds stupid but I was kinda hoping to win again before the end of the season, and Garland will seriously help me achieve my very ambitious dreams.

Jamar is at least another two weeks away according to our injury list.

You would think if he ran out the game, with a week to recover, he should be ok. I'd bring Spencer in next week and give Gawn a rest, which will actually allow Fitzy to ruck less. I am much much more worried about Garlo. He's our rock down back and anyone forced to use crutches and has a history of foot injures, is unlikely to get away with not missing a few games.

He had a proper limp in the end. Clearly couldn't ruck. The last time we risked a half injured player in the ruck, it was Clark and he hasn't been seen since. Glad mind blowingly pathetic decisions like that are no longer happening at this club.

Dunn- please no more

Total understatement. We must give him a fat wad of cash and sign him up for a decade. If we lose him, it would set us back significantly. Top priority in 2014 alongside Hogan contract extension. Btw I found it interesting to see Viney (of the Todd variety), quite clearly coaching in the box and helping Craig. Did not see any other assistants

He was clearly gutted when subbed off. We forget he is a baby playing in the worst midfield in AFL-VFL history. You can see how badly he wants it. Cut him some slack!

If we don't move heaven and earth to get some B grade experienced mids in the trade period, and spend all our draft picks n quality mids, I will lose my friggin mind. We are like a donut. Delicious around the edges but f'ing hollow in the centre!

Of course this is miles better than anything we did under Neeld. I wasn't comparing that though.And they were 14th of the ladder coming in. Hardly world beaters, and without Brown!

I know a lot of people don't think this is a big deal, but it reeks of crap attitude and lack of care. You'd never see a Sydney player do this after a loss.

It's the poorest midfield performance we have had under Craig. Defensively we have been crap, and against a weak opponent. Plus poor returns from a lot of players. This game may be a financial win, but its costing us physically.

So disappointed with Dawes. He has been [censored] poor, and as a leader, we should expect more. We are battered and bruised now, and we've given up. It's so disappointing.

This is the most disappointing performance since that idiot of a coach left.

Yes he is a star, and he is destroying Gawn. We know Gawn has no fitness base to speak of, but he isn't giving us much in the ruck or around the ground. We had to resort to letting Watts ruck. That's pretty bad!

For the first time ever, I've had an absolute gutfull of Trengove. I'm a fan, but he is in struggle town. And Dawes us having a shocker. Letting his opponent get to him.

I just can't see us winning this. Gawn is getting humiliated. No Garland. No sub. No good.

Screw everything. I want Garland to be ok. That's all I care about.

For once we are using our opportunities. Converting with almost every inside 50 entry. Backline saving our arse as always, midfield is struggling except Viney. He's going hard and doing well. Remind me of J Selwood.
