Have to agree with this sentiment. He really ravaged us at times when we played them. I used to be of the same opinion, that he was all flash and no substance in the way he plays. But now I'm convinced he has become a good ruckman. Ironically, the furore has died down now that he has become more consistent.

If the comp only included the last months matches, then sure. He's improved drastically but there are at least five I can think of that are still ahead of Max at the moment.

I think this is normally the case, but with Prestia the fact that he was a Dees supporter and that his family has strong ties with the club I wouldn't be surprised if we have the upper hand. Add to that a high draft pick and the ability to offer a rather lucrative deal, and I'm quite confident.

One good game from Howe isn't enough. I still hope they move him on. Dawes has been serviceable for a couple of weeks now. Hoping he finds his niche and can continue to work around half forward... he'll never be a deep marking forward with those hands.
