On AFL Facebook updates: Essendon CEO Ian Robson & Recruitment manager Adrian Dodoro have walked out of the mediation with Gold Coast into the media room. Are they about to sign off the deal for Josh Caddy? Or are they going to be saying how disappointed they are that they couldn't land him at Essendon?

Melbourne manage to convince the exact type of player we need, the only one in the league currently available, when it looked like we had no chance we were aggressive and persuasive. Yet the only positive you can see is that he has tatts? Come on mate, cheer up, this is a good thing!!! Big win for the Dees, we finally managed to get our man. Have some faith brother!! -

I find it strange that this site is full of people wanting Melbourne to take a risk and go hard at getting what we want. Then when we do people complain about it being too much!! Obviously Neeld and co and decided that we specifically need a big body that can go forward. Clark is the only one avalible so we are going out and making it happen, against the odds. Its a specfic targeted strategy and if thats what we need then we have to be preparded to pay for it. Clark could be the link in the chain that wins us a grand final in a few years. Make it happen Dees!!

Maybe the MFC, the ones who are professional and do this for a living, just didn't think he was worth throwing everything at. I trust that they know whats best and what he is worth. A lot on here seem to watch some YouTube clips and get caught up in the media frenzy over a kid who still has a year before he can even play!!
