I think the players forget that playing football is their job. Compare this to a normal job. The players direct manager = the coach. The football club board = the senior management. If I have a problem with my Direct Manger I do not complain to Senior Management. I go through the appropriate channels. If I have problems with Senior Management I suck it up and complain to my wife. I do not request they be sacked. If my Direct Manager has a problem with Senior Management it is none of my dam business, get back to work!!! Maybe the players should just concentrate on doing their own job correctly. If I was doing as poorly as they are at my work I would be lining up at Centrelink on Monday!!!

Yep Stynes has failed. Good Call. Debt gone, investments being purchased, record membership, state of the art facilities, a reunited club with the MCC. However because there is some trouble in the football department all this counts for nothing? If we had these same troubles 5 years ago then there would be talk of merger again. What more can Jimmy do without having to put the boots back on? We will get a new coach. We will play finals next year. And we will be pushing for a premiership in the next 4 years.

Just finished reading the Ben Cousins book (which is a great read) and interestingly he chooses to sign his contract at the prime of his career with no pay rise at all when he could have named his price. This was to ensure there was enough for West Coast to be able to keep Judd and Kerr who he knew would be needed to win a Premiership and both where out of contract. When he does this Judd and Kerr are so inspired they both resign within a week. A premiership follows.

How could the AFL find out about a $10 bet at a local TAB? Surly there must be more to all of this. I have put $20 on a Melbourne player for first goal every week for about 4 years, every week a pretty much random player, I have bet on Frawley, Grimes, Garland etc. many of my mates do the same with other clubs, you get great odds!! How could the AFL find this random $10 bet put on by Shaws mate? Smells like BS to me.

Listen to Schwartz everyday and he is one of my favourite media people, however is does not bleed red and blue at all. He is also looking very stupid in regards to this whole situation. Everything he has to say on the matter is ill-informed and foolish, from when he was talking money earlier in the show to when he was talking about compensation for Melbourne. Even went as far to say the GWS are lying about the offer today!! Why would they lie? And as if he would know!!

Used to really like Ox but think he is coming off sounding like a real fool in all of this. Came back after the break and Cam was gone and basically said he was lying and thinks he has already gone. Cam was clearly far too smart for Ox and Ox clearly does not know much about the situation at all.
