  1. I see a few similarities between the Mark Neelds time at Melbourne and Mick Malthouse's first 8 months with Carlton. Funny you didn't notice that
  2. Carlton have been developing a side of great potential for a number of years. At the Twilight of 2012 the greater powers of the Blues made the call that their Coach who's exceptional work developing a list had become redundant with a greater need for a strategic-minded, Grand Final-winning Coach. So they got that Collingwood guy, Mick. To many it looked like a perfect transition for both Carlton and Mick; Brett Ratten had taken his stellar list as far as he could and now it was time for a man with more ideal skills to step in and take this Carlton team into their final Act. Upon Mick's arrival he found himself all but satisfied with this hyped-up list of Blues. He resigned himself and Carlton to the fact that there were some substantial gaping holes in this list. He has confronted some players and their approach to standards, played some out of their usual position, and there is talk of substantial change to a list that once held such promise. Sound familiar?
  3. I really liked the Toump's game on Sat. I was working my ass off trying to get a 'TOUMP' call going everytime he kicked it. Bloody members weren't getting on board. He broke St Kilda's (crappy warranted) zone a few times. Jones was so wrapped to have Toump constantly getting into a good position for him. Jonesy loves him, you can tell.
  4. I watched it and i couldn't help but just think 'That's the guy that stepped on an opposing players ankle during a fight as the Runner'
  5. Terry Wallace's Draft is so out of wack. It reaks of someone who gets to Victorian games a bit here or there and not much else.
  6. I had some absolutely superb heckles yesterday. Some of the highlights include...... "KIM DUTHIE!" "KICK IT TO MILNEY" and "ROSS LYON LEFT YOUR CLUB BECAUSE YOU KEPT SEXUALLY ASSAULTING PEOPLE"
  7. If its a first round Priority we take these two Mids. No question. #2 Melbourne – James Aish (SA – Mid/Def) Height: 183cm, Weight: 74kg, DOB: 08/11/1995 Recruited from: Norwood Style: Trent Cotchin Player comparison: Range: 1-3 Profile: Aish is an elite user of the footy and just has more time and space than the next player. In space, in traffic, it doesn’t matter for Aish. He remains composed and never seems rushed. By both hand or foot he consistently uses it well and is one of the more duel sided players you’ll see at this young age and uses it at an elite disposal efficiency. Strong mark overhead for his size and has a strong 1v1 game despite his lean build. Aish is an impressive athlete with his ability to sidestep and has a real burst of speed on him in a straight line also. Aish still needs to get stronger but that will come. Despite his lean build he is not a soft outside player and is very willing to get his hands dirty and go hard when it’s his turn but is certainly more outside at this stage and likely starts his career on a wing or back flank. #4 St Kilda - Luke Dunstan (SA –Mid/Fwd) Height: 185cm, Weight: 83kg, DOB: 29/01/1995 Recruited from: Woodville-West Torrens Style: Dustin Martin (Better leader) Player comparison: Range: 3-7 Profile: Dunstan is a dominant inside midfielder with a strong body. Has future captain potential having captained SA through the u18 championships and is highly regarded for his leadership abilities. Really damaging player who will not only win his own footy every time he goes in for it but then will do big damage with it. Dunstan has very damaging footskills and is a really natural finisher anywhere near goal. Has very clean hands and is also an excellent inside extractor who will win those clearances consistently. Not only is Dunstan an exceptional inside player but he can also swing forward, take a mark and hit the scoreboard when given the opportunity and I expect he will continue to be a very damaging player at the next level. Ready to play from season one.

  14. Firstly, let's get it out of the way. Well watching Melbourne is enough of a joke for me. LOLOLROFLOLOL Now, who's hitting up the comfest this year? What are the must see's and ones to check out? I'm keen to see Frank Woodley, Sketch group 'Aunty Donna' and Arj Barker You?
  15. If this penalty is what the AFL is actually putting forward; we SHOULD take them to court. It's a watered down sanction that reeks of "we'll be able to make them accept this". Take them to court; lets get some good old fashion Demon Fury going.
  16. From top to bottom. 6 lads who either coached or played for the Dees. Interesting huh? http://www.hawthornfc.com.au/football/coaches
