Yes we are moaning already when you see our midfileld group with such sloppy disposals in the wet & along comes Kelly. For 2 weeks in a row now he looks in a different class.

On one occassion Byrnes & Frawley were in the square with only the young GWS fullback to beat. Byrnes cost us a goal by calling Frawley to let the kick come to the back. It didn't, & the kid puched the ball away. If Frawley play forward again he has to attack the ball & not listen to the advise of a dud like Byrnes.

The recruiting has been hiss-poor for years & here is just another instance that will come back to haunt us, Kelly wasn't rated No 2 in the draft for nothing & we could have taken him.

Let's not wait till season's end, Byrnes should be told to clean out his locker tomorrow.

What was the idea of kicking the ball to the same side of the ground after a GWS point, time after time? What is wrong with kicking the ball short to loose player or straight down the centre? So frustrating to watch these tactics that clearly failed us. And Grimes gets caught so many times ball watching it's not funny. Meanwhile his opponent has already got a break on him. Not a captain's backside.

What a masterstroke it was to overlook Kelly in the draft. The kid put us out of the game early in the last quarter with his great skills in the wet. Tyson can get the ball but has average disposal. The AFL must be smiling with all the concessions given to GWS & Gold Coast. We can surely forget about making the finals for the next 10 years.

Take Blease off the table & put Nicholson on FCS. I'd rather keep a player with pace that has kicked 5 goals in a game rather than a poor left footer that can't even hit a barn door.

I would be happy with either Scarenburg or Sheed having checked the stats on both these exciting young prospects. I'm changing from Aish who has a lighter frame to the stronger bodied mid. God I hope we keep Pick 2 for one of these guys as they look very classy & get plenty of the ball which is just what we need.

Byrnes always had poor disposal at Geelong and nothing has changed since he has joined the MFC. Would delist him in favour of some young talent in a heartbeat.

This club has been on a downward spiral ever since Bailey started cleaning out all the experienced players. Neeld has followed suit and done exactly the same thing plus adding aging hacks & rejects to replace Rivers, Moloney, Petterd & Martin. The recruiting is shizen. We are stuffed, period.
