My love for this club is almost as strong as the hate right now. Soft, poor skills and far to comfortable with losing. No changes in preseason or change of coach is going to lead to quick fix. A really pathetic effort by a pathetic list of players. Yeah the umpire was atrocious and it was in Ports best interest to win, but we still should have won.

My expectations for next year are bottom 4 thus club is too used of losing and we have a list of average at best players

Trengove decision certainly makes an argument that the club is a great place to stay for young players, so your point is taken. At the end of the day, we will never know the true motivation for Tom's decision (well, unlikely anyway). It is his decision though, and we must accept that. I have a feeling his bung knee might be playing a large part in his decision. If my knee was so suspect, it would be hard to turn down a long and well paying contract that guarantees financial security. He might only play 50 games for GWS before it gives way.

A fair point, but players like Brown and Ablett have given a lot to their club, whereas we have gotten bugger all from Scully. We could have picked Martin who also is loyal and willing to turn down better coin for his club. Let's not get into the hindsight debate though. It is what it is, and it is not the end of the world.

I have a feeling Port will get up. They played well against Essendon and will want to avoid the spoon at all costs. Not to mention we are missing quite a few good players, as mentioned by Sid above. Would love to end the year on a win though, so I will be watching and cheering the guys on come Sunday afternoon.

I was like this on Sunday when we were getting outplayed by Gold Coast and our general team attitude and effort was embarrassing. I am generally much quieter at the football, but at home, something is unleashed inside me :S

I think 41 goals considering where he has come from is pretty bloody good. Certainly has parts of his game that he can work on, but so does every player. If he kicked 41 this year in 18 games, I can see him easily kicking 70-80 with better and more inside 50s and greater fitness etc.

Loved his game, and liked the games of McDonald and bennell.

Scully wad good in 3rd particular and WILL be a great player but won't be with Demons

Not at all, generally have been optimistic about the team but it's been a long year and my patience is waning. I have liked bleases game, would live watts to hit some form
