2004 - Suspended four matches and fined $5200 after the infamous Hawthorn-Essendon "Line in the Sand" game.
2007 - Fined $15,000 for giving misleading evidence at the AFL Tribunal after charges against Chris Judd were dropped.
2008 - Suspended for two games for charging Carlton's Matthew Kreuzer in the NAB Cup. Misses the season start.
2009 - Labels Matthew Lloyd a "sniper" and vows retribution after the Bombers captain KOs Hawk Brad Sewell.
2009 - Reportedly offered to Port Adelaide in return for Shaun Burgoyne but the story is quickly shot down by Hawthorn.
2010 - Joins AFL expansion club, Gold Coast Suns.
2011 - Suspended for four weeks after elbowing Western Bulldog Callan Ward in the face and a high bump on Barry Hall.

2012 - Suspended six weeks for high bump on young Crow Aiden Riley in the final game of the year.
Said Brown at the time: "I don't think it's something I can temper too much because I think if I do, I'll be useless out there, because it's one of my main attributes."
2013 - Suspended four weeks for rough conduct against James Strauss. He will miss the opening round of 2014 for the third time in the last four years.
2013 - Investigated over incident with teammate Steven May, that left the youngster with a broken jaw.
