I've ordered one for you, Uncle. I'll tell them not to use a wool/polyester blended yarn

Lucky for you they're also absorbent

In readiness for the new season and some cold afternoons at the G, I've put an order in to the local CWA for a red and blue pair of these. Anyone else interested? Might be cheaper for a bulk order

Something to aspire to. Disagree with the killjoys. Show a little excitement for just a moment before R1 I don't have a problem with it at all.
  5. The rules don't apply to them, apparently
  6. Wish I had those dance moves back in the 90's. Nice work Jake, stay classy.
  7. Demonland after the appeal
  8. Those bozos at afl.com.au must read Demonland: "Joel Smith kicked six goals across two games in a new role as the 'third tall' alongside Tom McDonald and Sam Weideman. All three found themselves flying at the same football too often, so that's something they'll have to refine before the season."
  9. Well said, Cam Pedersen. Saw him numerous times chatting to fans in the stands before games or when not playing. He'll make a fine teacher.
  10. That Berry didn't play out the game will not work in May's favour. His lack of awareness has zilch to do with May getting off. The bump was intended, got him flush on the jaw. His body moved towards Berry. Could've stepped away or got him lower. Duty of care is on May. FFS, it's a practice game, there was no need for it.
  11. Hope he wouldn't, but I'd wish him well if he did. Certainly wouldn't begrudge him another opportunity elsewhere
  12. Agree. May has a history of intentionally bumping. Wasn't a smart thing to do in a preseason game at a new club arguably on big coin. He got him flush on the chin with the point of his shoulder
  13. Plus he would've been paid quite well
  14. Footballers want three things: success, money and footy mates. Loyalty to a club would come a distant 4th, at best.
  15. I actually thought VDB's stomach punch was the more stupid act. I'd have given him 1 week just for being that dumb

    Better than "Crusty"...

I'm microwaving my membership card Red. What a disgrace!
  18. And these bozos still get paid for sloppy journalism mistakes!
  19. Interesting, I think Bedford is a long way off. Very slight body, no tank, as such. Watched him closely training last week. Has some skills and much to work with, but IMO would be lost at AFL level until he's spent most of 2019 at Casey. Early call though.
  20. General question, Red, more a follow up on the conversation. Max had been around four a while so would know how the newbies are rated, particulary Bradke
  21. Hibberd has WAY more runs on the board than those two. Anyone who thinks he's past his prime knows zilch about the game and deserves nothing short of ridicule
  22. Really good intel TK, thanks for sharing
  23. Yes, I noticed they got in each others way a lot. One example had Weid set for a simple overhead mark, only to have Smith leap from behind to attempt the impossible. I know Weid and Smirh are still young, but surely these guys get taught leading patterns to keep clear of each other???
