  1. Agreed. A number of years ago people would've laughed at the thought of Gawn in a leadership position. Remember the $cully China yawn?
  2. Cyril Rioli?? Hunt would be faster than Cyril Rioli in a straight line, but the rest of your sentence is not accurate. Cyril is quicker on the turn, has an amazing side step, reads the play faster than Hunt and is a much better kick, particularly under pressure. Cyril has the runs on the board over a longer career and under much bigger games too.
  3. So if Goody wanted a third tall, who would it be? Both Smiths injured, Preuss injured. Max will play 90% ruck. Keilty?
  4. Surprised he didn't pick himself to win the Norm Smith
  5. You should get a job above Jason Taylor, you're such an astute judge of talent
  6. So he's primed for the start of the season. ?
  7. It's a reference to My Little Pony. At the time we played like kids.
  8. If your kaftan has a collar you might be right. I'd recommend giving the high heels a miss
  9. Mick thinking we are top 4 is like the tongue kiss of death
  10. 30k bought by Bruce Matheson
  11. I've ordered one for you, Uncle. I'll tell them not to use a wool/polyester blended yarn
  12. Lucky for you they're also absorbent
  13. In readiness for the new season and some cold afternoons at the G, I've put an order in to the local CWA for a red and blue pair of these. Anyone else interested? Might be cheaper for a bulk order
  14. Something to aspire to. Disagree with the killjoys. Show a little excitement for just a moment before R1 I don't have a problem with it at all.
  15. The rules don't apply to them, apparently
  16. Wish I had those dance moves back in the 90's. Nice work Jake, stay classy.
  17. Demonland after the appeal
  18. Those bozos at afl.com.au must read Demonland: "Joel Smith kicked six goals across two games in a new role as the 'third tall' alongside Tom McDonald and Sam Weideman. All three found themselves flying at the same football too often, so that's something they'll have to refine before the season."
  19. Well said, Cam Pedersen. Saw him numerous times chatting to fans in the stands before games or when not playing. He'll make a fine teacher.
  20. That Berry didn't play out the game will not work in May's favour. His lack of awareness has zilch to do with May getting off. The bump was intended, got him flush on the jaw. His body moved towards Berry. Could've stepped away or got him lower. Duty of care is on May. FFS, it's a practice game, there was no need for it.
  21. Hope he wouldn't, but I'd wish him well if he did. Certainly wouldn't begrudge him another opportunity elsewhere
  22. Agree. May has a history of intentionally bumping. Wasn't a smart thing to do in a preseason game at a new club arguably on big coin. He got him flush on the chin with the point of his shoulder
  23. Plus he would've been paid quite well
  24. Footballers want three things: success, money and footy mates. Loyalty to a club would come a distant 4th, at best.
