  1. IIRC, Jurrah didn't deal well with close checking opponents who targeted him and bumped him around. Was amazing when given space to leap or run onto the ball. His body was slender at the time, his forearms were like twigs. That might explain some of the wrist problems, not sure. Those one handed marks were freakish. His ability to foresee a passage of play and then position himself or kick to where needed was a joy to watch. I rate him as the most naturally gifted player of a wide variety of skills I've seen in the red and blue.
  2. All of those have been reinvented and/or improved under Goodwin. That is what you posed. And yes, Gawn has risen to another level duringvthe last 3 years But I guess that doesn't suit the Goodwin-hating narrative, does it.
  3. Frost, Fritter, Hunt, Melk, Trac, Hore (albeit only 1 season) Injuries may have stopped others.
  4. How'd his brother go? Is he any good? How old?
  5. Careful or you will have @Bitter but optimistic salivating over your post, Bub. You know how he likes a jolly good, er...... yum cha...
  6. I dispute that you have anything new to say apart from this copy and paste outrage.
  7. And there endeth the lesson from SWYL.... until he says the same thing in another thread in 5 mins time
  8. As Dennis Cometti would've said: "Aaaambitious!"
  9. What on earth are you after? For him to bag Goidwin? That would achieve nadda. Roos is damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. Imo he can do as he pleases. I'm thankful for what he and PJ did (which was a frigging lot in a short period of time) Looks like you want to stick up for Lyon and sink the boots onto Roos, which would be hugely ironic, as Dazzle mentioned.
  10. He returned to Port Adelaide from North Melb, before we topped up his super for 29 games. You are making [censored] up to suit your dominating narrative. Give it a rest and let others have a say
  11. Jurrah did not drink before the China trip. He took a huge speccie in the last quarter there and kicked the winning goal. Then went on a bender with the players and never stopped. If you cannot see the link between alcohol and trouble in indigenous lives, I give up. Incidently, that was the trip Gawn yawned on Scully
  12. @Bitter but optimistic would frighten the bejeesus out of him. Go home factor will kick in after week 1. Who'd blame him! But your sporting career story telling would ensure he gets plenty of sleep
  13. Wrong. Started drinking at MFC. China game anyone?
  14. No, he's already acknowledged that his time is up. Our task is to smoothly transit him to a support role, as we did with Crossy
  15. Refreshing to listen to Rhyce Shaw at the presser. Such a contrast to that sook Scott
  16. Like your insights Lord Travis. Got any thoughts on players available at our 2nd rounder? Maybe about 25?
  17. Now that I'd pay good money to see: Picket taking a speccie over picket fence!!!
  18. Good on him. Hope he has his health and life back on track.
  19. Any family in Melbourne city? Go home factor written all over it.
