I would be surprised if it was anyone except Blease, although Casey had a bye last week - so does that mean he is slightly out of touch and needs a full game to get into the swing of things, or just throw him in the end so play on adrenaline for half/quarter of a game (assuming no early injuries)?

Not entirely sure this is worthy of a full thread but why not. Grimes was quickly interviewed during the channel 10 news tonight and asked about his injury. He said it is coming along "really well, faster than expected". The docs are really happy with it. Expects to start jogging next week and said he would play if we went deep in finals. Mentioned Garlo to basically say "he had the same injury and look where he is now". Just seemed really confident which is great, i think we can forget it ending up like Egan etc! Have to admit i forgot about Grimesy for a while, purely because there is no point thinking about him in terms of this season. Ahh i'll be so happy when we have him back.

What? Other clubs clap players for doing even less than that. It happens all the time... you're just choosing to particularly focus on this incidence of it happening. If anything its great, because prior to this he had been getting more groans than claps.

The umpiring was pretty average all game, but it was no consequence to the result. If we kicked straight we would've rolled them by a million points. The fact that they were screaming for holding the ball so much is an indictment on them for not having possession enough!

Have to say it was a result of him being dropped to Casey. Taught him what he had to do!
