I think you're over rating your role as a supporter.

Nothing wrong with these rose coloured shades Old Dee - I'd have topped myself by now if I took the attitude of most on here. I see it as part of my job description as a supporter to be positive. Sure, at times I'm unrealistic but being realistic is the job of those at the club, not mine.

My god, I have not once claimed to know anything. I am but a lover of the game and supporter of my club. All I have done is asked the question what is culture in terms of football? Your answer? "It does exist. West Coast Has it....Fremantle doesn't."....thanks alot. I have never seen first hand the day to day workings of Hawthorn, Carlton or Essendon but I would love you to explain what you saw there and how it compares to MFC.

I appreciate people trying to explain it because I find it a difficult thing to believe in. If the players aren't playing well then I tend to believe that there are tangible reasons for this and also people responsible for them. Sure, we should talk about Dean's coaching, Brad's captaincy and every person's role within the club as far as our personal knowledge allows, but when somebody says it's a culture problem, true as it may be, it comes across as pointless and generic.

So it means 'Everything we do'. Surely, we can be more specific when critiquing our club.

A sub par medical department not doing it's job?? Are you basing that on us having an injury list or do you have some sort of insight into the way they go about their jobs?

Yeah, none of our older guys have alot in the way of on-field leadership qualities. I'm of the opinion that criticizing them for not being leaders is not the way to go, for every 30-year old leader there is another 30 year-old who just plays the game. I do think Greeny got thrown in the deep end. Our leaders will come through.

Getting smashed here but am I wrong to want an answer to the question, what is football culture?? Surely it involves a tangible issue we can discuss, no? For the record, I agree with the general sentiment of the article. Brereton targeted the players mentality and rightly so but Dunstall's comment about culture was void of any substance.

I've been hammered from pillar to post here which may be fair enough but bear with me, if you will. If our 'culture' is bad and always has been....then who is it that nurtures this culture?? If this concept of culture is real and not some intangible nothingness then surely someone can tell me who has remained @MFC that feeds this culture?? If you replaced every single person in the club tomorrow, would the culture be gone?
