I would really love to dabble for a few more midfielders in the likes of Mckenzie, Nicholson, Evans or even a Rockliff if we could.... I think we have alot of talls with Mcdonald, Cook, Davis, Sellar, Gawn, Spencer,Dunn not best 23 atm But if there is a standout then we have to take them really, and of that list, 2 are rucks and only Mcdonald and Sellar look ready for first team next year if required...just dont want the list to go top heavy with the amount of running players required within the game.

My only skeptical comment would be his pace at around the 1.00 mark of the video, before he slots the goal. He could easily just be strolling in but the other kid was bearing down on him like a freight train. Might just be picky? -
Let be honest, we all want to know who will be inheriting the now coveted #29 worn by BIG JUICE! Also worn by Hassa Mann 3 time premiership player and MFC Captain

One of the hardest things and something i actually manged to achieve last year i think was weeding out all the MFC players which WONT score well. All we hear all summer is how good they look ect, and then we think well they are young, a year older ect but this imo is the hardest thing, not picking every MFC player who has "trained the house down".
-
Arnt prices just what ever they finished on last year, with a slight change for the "magic number" he had a huge 2010 is why he was so expensive...averaged 125 that year
-
Dont know if this is where it *should* be discussed but players from leafues such as the Ammo's could be really smart, or VFL, SANFL and WAFL... In 2010 Isaac Smith started the year in Ballarat's BFL for Redan, went to North Ballarat, played less than 8 games, got drafted and was a great pick up who made an impact in his first year for the Hawks. Also we had Nicho from the Ammo's. Duigan from SANFL, we all know about Barlow, Stratton at the Hawks also, Pods quite a few coming through from the countries second tier comps nationally, when they are given genuine opportunity at an AFL club. I also know alot do not make it, was more highlighting Nicho and Smith who came basically from 4-5th tier comps in 12 months to show they are exciting propects.

OK so i havnt been to training yet this year, seems a hassle as i live in Geelong and it will take 2 hours to get there and mean me being up at 6ish or something. I will do it soon though. The training itself has seemed to be of a much higher intensity than ever before, that i can recall. I big emphasis on the teams fitness which many were questioning last year. what this means for individuals and the team will only be know in march, but i would have thought it will be emense, in that if we are 10-15% below the AFL average/top teams will that equate to a similar increase in overall performance? will the players get 10-15% more possession? more tackles? more pressure? you would hope so. Alot has been said of Blease and Gysberts, but im sure Mckenzie, Evans, Sylvia, Tapscott, Watts an co all who arnt unfit but are not in the top bracket, the more we have here the better obviously. Now for skills....Misson indicated that skills will be taking a bigger spotlight during the new years, although i imagine this may be ontop of a strong cardio regime. Skills will be big, and i will really be interested in how Neeld and Co. approach this, players such as Moloney, Mckenzie, Rivers, Bartram ect benifiting greately in their games if they would have good to great disposal, many of these guys dont have trouble getting the ball, just using it.

OK im not saying we should not discuss this issue full stop just not here, it has stopped interesting me because i havnt seen anything productive come out of it in months, i also havnt read a Scully thread in weeks though. In terms of the MFC position, i truly believe we are ina suprior position, better Head coach, coaches, FD, players than in any of the previous years, also got rid of a guy who didnt feel passionately about our club, and we have compensation which puts us in a great position. The AFL thing, every team has to "Tow the Line" or answer to their call, is this what you meant? even Collingwood, we just need to reduce the amount we do this, they are the governing body they have to be respected imo, no biggie. edit - will now post about training.
-
Pity i doubt you will ever be in a position to receive such offers. please sook else where.
-
Making sense, but how else do you promote a product in Victoria if your serious?
-
More that it takes up every thread on this site! I have a sense of humor, but i thought there was a thread of his own for all the wingers who cant get over Octobers news is all, Yeah he lied, so do lots of people every day, his was a big one, and effected our club poorly, But spilt milk and all imo

Two good possiblities I think our next sponsor will be form Asia, and if so will be lucrative
-
No he Played for Melbourne , Was a very good player, and made a decision in his best judgement for himself. I would like to see anyone on this website turn down 1Million dollars a year. Give it a rest, i am getting sick of it
-
You are obviously average at supercoach as people have said that for 4 years now and he hasnt delivered yet......maybe this year
-
Hugely overated, nearly 22 or more and averages 15 touches a game......
-
will be interesting to see how this affects the figures? http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/7415/newsid/126744/default.aspx See if we get a few as christmas presents we may not normally get. Also will be good for Cashflow of the club getting people paid up nice and early. We are trying things which is good, lets just keep this good rate of return flowing into 2012 and we will hit 40K easily really

OK been up to date with the second season of Walking dead and it started really well, dropped away badly after the first 2 episodes for a LONG time imo.... got a little better at the last episode that i saw...will keep you tuned. DL Board walk empire now was looking for something to watch I literally watched 8 seasons of "entourage" and dont feel bad about it haha, so many of the characters are likable but the show is pretty much just and actor or 2 his mates some parties ect girls on and off yaddayadda. OH and the best "agent" in the world (for actors) not spies. EDIT - DEXTER IS AWESOME all i will say, it is my pet show but yeah i think season 6 is back on track...what ever the latest is

seemingly it would have been hard for him not to improve. But i see this a good thing in all honesty, alot of people seem to be down about he and Blease being so unfit, but..... 2011 is now over, the season anyway and if these boys were starting to show signs of ability (while being so unfit) if they are fit in 2012 then they should be vastly improved players. Exciting really. It is easier to teach kids how to run than how to get their hands on the ball, thats a fact.

He has a soft head, seriously history of concussion, Trengove agrees

Please stop using common sense and reasonable judgement RB..... People around here cant handle such levels of optimism
-
I agree with the mini draft thoughts HT, People are generally concerned because the kids are so young, but if we get it right, which you have to do wit hthem either way then this kid will make an impact more so than Trengove has potentially as he will be hopefully moving into a better midfield with Moloney, Viney, Tengove, Gysberts, Jones and Sylvia hopefully hit their primes. Edit, in 2 years time that doesnt sound to bad.....imagine that with a Pendlebury in it though!!! and maybe a Nicholson and then Bail and Mckenzie

I wouldnt be signing up 1.3M for 5 years, maybe 3. In 5 years time just like 2-3 years ago with Kaspersky sponsorship dollars have doubled, so it would imo be quite low in terms of markets dollars. Maybe sign an Energy Watch up at 2 million for 4-5 years but not 1.3M imo
