Great player, but all i am saying is that you cannot judge player A because player B came on faster than him or was better developed, By all reports Cameron is better and was rated better than Patton, was just a 17yo pick Patton isnt doing alot for a big strong pick 1 full forward, will we get into him? or is it reserved for MFC players only?

All i said is that Jett has only performed to this level for half a season, he kicked like 20 behinds in a row last year didnt he? *will be very close to AA with his form, but they normally like more than one years production (usual names ect) Darling is more of a target this year (and built to be) with Kennedy out, Cook does not struggle at VFL level, he will come on, kid isnt 20 yet very few KPP's come on prior to 22 or so, Franklin and Darling are about it and Darling has played the role of a foil for a year to begin with

Jetta has half a season of form, Darling has done very little so far, is a good player but isnt a world beater or anything. Kennedy was a reasonable nobody when Carlton traded him, know he is a top KPP in the league 3-4 years alter

We play them GC and GWS is a big possibility. Also the dogs who have 0 easy games to come, that is just that extra step to far though imo (3 games)

i wouldnt give up pick 12 for Wellingham so no, and pick 4 for Beams is huge to give up. He havnt drafted fantastically but as is always said, picks 3 and 4 are where the Pendlebury's Judds and Cotchins of this world come from, not the Beams and Wellinghams

Port really and GWS and GC I think the Dogs have an interesting finish to the season, they could easily not win another game for the season, no easy games ie Port GWS or GC for them. They are 3 wins ahead of us at present though

The outcome will be decided in the side of the season though, with 3-4 winnable games we should get to about 4 wins imo

You are a fool, both players leading the club in non negotiable's and key stats, tackles ect just not racking up possessions. Captains do more than rack up numbers, talk to Moloney

He is very highly rated, i agree that we will most likely not take him at 3/4 but many people suggest he will not be available by the time 12 comes around, only possibility is that him being injured may let others rise above him. I like the sound of him personally and like others am not convince that the backline we have is world class, players like Davis and Sheehan who have 1 AFL game if any between them being named as our future. We could definately be linked with Grundy but only imo if Viney slides to the second round meaning we get 2 top 5 Mids and Grundy and then someone else special like a Garlett, Stringer Plowman or Menzel at 12 I draft like this would be incredible imo

The question is so much is he worth a top 2 pick to GWS or GC but a top 4 pick to MFC. they are calling our bluff and yeah they risk taking him but i dont there is anyone in the 4-10 range who is alot better than Viney when i really think it through. Wines isnt and Stringer has a big risk factor non of the other names are above Viney imo from what i have seen and read. I thought both clubs will pass but that was when i thought Viney isnt top 2 or even 3 but he is definitely in the mix at 4 and i would say leading the pack at 4. The final aspect to this is though the top 3 as always are in their own league so if we call the bluff we could end up with a Whitfield, Grundy, Toumpas combo of two of these guys or basically a top 3 pick for a 4-7 pick which is a big difference. Is a complicated scenario i havnt even convinced myself writing this just getting my thoughts on paper really.

I agree it would be unlikelyto be Wines, but someone must end up slipping in all reality, with the likeds of Plowman, Vlastuin, Wines, Stringer, Shaw, Kennedy, Menzel, O'rouke And even players like Garlett and Simpson and Mayes have been mentioned around 10 so someone decent will be available at 12 especially if they slide in the second half of the year. Although Wines himself has been building since the start of the champs.

I was down there for the game, Thought Viney was pretty good, hard to follow who is who though, agree Wines seemed to be the other stand out, couldnt find Whitfield alot of teh time although he was around just hard. I thought Viney had a around 3-4 clearances from what i see in the last 2.5 quarters? ran and made alot of space all day, running both ways through the centre. He is REALLY small, 178 would be it imo, was noticably smaller than almost all on the ground today. I havnt looked at the stats and its hard to keep track of all these numbers you dont know but i would have had Viney easily in my bests for the day, saw a bit of Luke Mcdonald around the ball when i worked out his number (norths father son next year). Didnt work out Vlastuins number till late so cant really comment. number 9 for Metro O'Rouke? off the half back looked solid in the last half imo, anyone else have an opinion? Viney with 16 touches and a few tackles and clearances is pretty goof for 80 minutes work, didnt seem to go to the bench much either

Hard to say where Stringer will end up, people had queries over Selwoods shoulders when drafted, he has barley missed a game since. Then again he could be majorly restricted and then career cut short ect.... The next half of the year and the carnival will tell the tale imo

Sorry to go on but Cook will be it, and Darling is playing ok now, but i am still happy to put my name down for Cook over a career span

The best scenario i have heard so far is the Pick 4 and 12 for Boak and 8 or so. I think that pick 8 will still get use probably the 6th best mid in the draft and that is after Viney is already out so we really get about a top 5 mid from the draft and Viney and Boak and they get a top 5 pick and second pick at 12 sounds pretty fair to all imo. Players still in the mix at 8 would be imo. Whitfield, Viney, Grundy, Stringer, Toumpas, Wines, Vlastuin, Plowman I would imagine one of the highlighted to be available at pick 8, thoughts? even maybe Stringer depending on his season coming back from the leg injury, although i imagine someone will take this risk on him at say 4-5

Geelong have the Ablett compo, so they have 2 middle of the rung first rounders, both between say 13-16ish i imagine

From what i have seen of Cameron it is that he makes space and gets under the ball well, beats is player to the ball, nothing to do with muscle or strength, predominantly But is non the less a GUN, just saying he isnt playing the big forward that say patton is, he is just smart and good at marking kicking, great attributes, especially the space he can find imo

That is a midfield going forward, would dominate that draft if it happens
