Col Sylvia is playing International Rules.

Not intentionally. If i want to see you pop up in a trhead i'll post about "your boy" #7! -
at the end of the day if he doesnt play for us in 2012, it will become a major issue for us, both on and off the field. We'll lack on field experience and the media will have a field day over it and the fact a club captain walked out on us. IMO it would be similarly as detremental to us as the Junior issue or Scully saga

jesus, they have as much chance of getting injured playing in the international rules game as one of the other guys does on an end of season trip in Vegas! People need to chill out, they are professional sportsmen, an extra game isnt the end of the world. And if they get injured well we've been unlucky -
haha. Old Dee - Jamie Bennells #1 fan!

If Neeld is the Coach we are lead to believe he is, then i'm expecting to see consistancy from our inconsistant players. If guys like Sylvia, Jurrah, and Bennell can start to become consistant players under Neeld then we're on the right track

I've seen some pretty "matter of fact" / Bold statements in some of the player review threads. I thought it might be a laugh to have a designated topic where posters can make bold predictions abvout how we might gio next year and then revist down the track and see how right or wrong we were?! My predicitons for 2012; Jack Watts to be named in the All Australian team Brad Green & Aaron Davey to rebound from poor seasons Clint Bartram to be in Neelds best 22

speaking of Hawthorn memberships, i love the fact their membership scaffs have "number of years of membership" embroided on them, and have more rings of brown too. Nice touch i reckon
-
Common misconception. He deserved AA, but didnt get the nod
-
if Neeld olny feels he has to get rid of one of Dunn & Bate, i hope we keep Bate
-
He reminds me alot of a tripple premership, brownlow / normsmith medallist player for the Cats.... Reliable set shot and goal, great overhead, likes the tough stuff, and is generally a footballers footballer! He's our Jimmy Bartell.

Peter Sumich leaves West Coast to join Freo
DemonWA replied to jayceebee31's topic in Melbourne Demons
I dont buy in to him being a Freo person. He might have cut his teeth at South Freo in the WAFL, but he is the Eagles all time leading goal scorer - he's no working for the enemy! -

In a state of 2 teams, when a club legend moves from one to the other it will casue a mini medai fenzy. Summa going to freo will turn heads in WA Glenn Jackovich recently raised money just by putting on a dockers gurnsey for a fun run (the docekrs fans thought the pain Jacko would go through by donning the purple would be worth paying for). -
yep, when you judge him against the rest of the '08 draft he doesnt really stack up. He hasnt become a settled consistant player yet. Having said that, the review on the clubs website resonated with me - if they stop swinging him from backline to forward line he might be able to actually learn a position and develop there. bit like stef martin, give him a role (ruck) to learn and focus on and he has come good

got no problem with his tats, but the way he comes across in interviews etc rubs me up the wrong way. thats all.

agreed in my experience my non-demons mates only seem to rate our players who score well in Dream Team! ha!

FACT: Collingwood have won multiple flags during the last few decades!

yeah towards the end of the year MacDonald was killing his opponents, especially in the air. He is far from a list clogger in my opinion, he is a fringe player who can be relied on to do a job if requried to play in the 1's. Infact, i have a gut feeling that players who are willing to play a role for the team will be the types of players Neeld embraces as he tries to teach his style of game plan

to put it into perspective if a club had these picks in 2008 they would have 1. Melbourne -- Jack Watts (Sandringham Dragons) 2. West Coast Eagles -- Nicholas Naitanui (Swan Districts) 3. Fremantle -- Stephen Hill (West Perth) 5. Essendon -- Michael Hurley (Northern Knights) 7. Brisbane Lions -- Daniel Rich (Subiaco) 9. North Melbourne -- Jack Ziebell (Murray Bushrangers) 11. Collingwood -- Steele Sidebottom (Murray Bushrangers) 13. St Kilda -- Tom Lynch (Sandringham Dragons) 15. Geelong -- Mitchell Brown (Sandringham Dragons) 28. Adelaide -- Shaun McKernan (Calder Cannons) 46. Collingwood -- Luke Rounds (Geelong Falcons) 64. Melbourne -- Rohan Bail (Mt Gravatt) 82. Brisbane Lions -- Pass
