  1. About that crack about being an arrogant thug with a bald spot......
  2. ......it's the second time i have fallen for it this week!
  3. Agree. He was a liability. Ironic that gws got johnson in at leastvin part because of his experience in finals and he gets himself rubbed out with some misguided physical palaver. Potentially cost them a gf win
  4. So did I.
  5. Never wanted him anyway
  6. The Age reporting the lewis deal is done (report by tjhat smarmy twerp McClure) http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/afl-trade-period-2016-live-coverage-day-six-20161016-gs3iok.html
  7. And my two cents is that this is directy related to the age players are drafted. getting 17-18 year old kids is a raffle. So much cann change physically and mental between that age and say 21, 22. the NBA and NFL also has its share of busts but the college system and that fact that most players are 2- 22 hen drafted makes them much rarer - at least at the top end of the draft. I don't know but i wonder if late picks are sometimes older players, like vanders and perhaps more predicable.
  8. Well if this eventuates you would shoot to the top of the DL rumor charts. Incredibly detailed and name sources. Gold standard rumor posting. Well done sir (even if it falls over!)
  9. Not for mine. I reckon Hibberd will be an excellent addition. We have enough Koby like players. We have bugger all players who can reliably hit a target 40 plus metres away.
  10. I must learn about that. Berlin would also be a different city and Germany a different country if the allies had reached Berlin first. The vengeance wreaked by the Russians on Berliners is mid blowing. I love Berlin by the by.
  11. To be fair very few events would trigger the end of the world.
  12. That and an ability to hit a bloody target
  13. Welcome back Flash in the pan. Will your alter ego stay around?
  14. I wouldn't have thought so given we had heard nothing at all from him or his manager. The only comment has been from the HFC who is saying is a required player - which they would say if they have indeed changed their position and are now keen to keep him (by the by i liked the idea fro a poster that a back flip lands you in the same position so shouldn't be used in this context). As i have said previously he is slow so that's an issue (and no doubt one of the reasons the hawks might have considered trading him) but he is a brilliant kick, and a leftie to boot (pardon the pun) and we have serious lack of good kicks, which with our game plan has major implications. Think of all our woeful entries into our forward 50 this year, not to mention turnovers across the half back and center lines. There were a a number of games we would have won if we had taken full advantage of or high inside 50 counts by doing the basics well and hitting open players or putting to the forward's advantage (a basic footy skill thta it seems only salem and watts master at the dees) Lewis would became our equal best user with Watts (with Salem not too far behind). Hogan would love to be getting service from Lewis. It's a yes from me
  15. The gift that keeps giving (perhaps he is Dank after all!): Follow AFL Trade Whisperer‏@AFLTradeWhisper My statement. #AFLTrades #whispers #WhoIsTheWhisperer
  16. if i could i would double like tips. Well run clubs don't leak.
  17. Sorry osilik ive been patient. But this sort of repetitive, uninformed tosh wears me down. You can join my very small number of posters i have on ignore.
  18. Agree it is car crash brilliant. Like a surreal text based realit show. On Channel 31. Given how big a [censored] he is can only be one of two people - Dank or Nixon. And seeing how Danks has little to do with trading i'm guessing Nixon. A 100% match for his psychological profile. Crazy as a bag of cats.
  19. Its too funny. That [censored] the trade whisper is going to announce who he is at the end of the trade period and is giving a clue a day. His account is train wreck funny. I can't look away. Would not surprise me at all if it is Ricky Nixon. The account has all the hallmarks of a delusional, narcissistic 50 odd year old man who is no longer relevant and is desperate to be. Once was a warrior.
  20. Id hazard a guess darling might be in the mix with a mitchell trade. With roughy out they have some issues up forward. I don't rate sicily and they need more than rioli and puopolo
  21. Just read it over a coffee. The fact im not surprised how woeful it is says it all about slobbos journalistix skills. Had to laugh though. The headline of the article says AFL COMPELLED TO STRIP BROWNLOW. Yet the article argues the opposite, concluding with a statement that jab must keep it. Also had to laugh at the front page treatement and two page spread repletw with what must be the hun's 20th timeline (they should do a timeline of their timelunes). Thw hun will milk this to the last drop. The quote from a mr hird in london that a great injustice had occurred and that the players were innocent also made mw chuckle. Who is mr hord in london - a cabbie?
  22. I just read ahern wont play in 2017 after recentlty rupturong his acilles (for the second time?). Great pick up. Not.
  23. Yep. Imagine how we would feel if Wattsy announced now he wanted to leave. We would be furious. But he is nothing if not loyal and he if he plays out the rest of his career at the dees at or near the level he played this year he may end up being a great of the club.
  24. I'm not in to serials. Mainly because i watch enough footy and sport that more TV would be too much but also because i lose track of episodes and i'm not on one of the streaming services. But one i did watch all of was The Wire when it was on ABC2 a few years back (though to my dismay they didn't show the final series and i ended up buying it on DVD). Simply brilliant. The best thing i have ever seen on TV and the closest TV experience to reading a novel i have had. As it was on free to air it was old school tension having to wait a week for the next episode, but i think that really added to the experience. Interestingly it was set in Baltimore and two of its main characters (both American) were played by English theater actors
