Actually not a bad idea (and yes I despise the concept of communism). Why should one club take all the profit just because of the way that the AFL decide to arrange the FIXture? For example when we play Collingwood, Essendon, Richmond at OUR ground, the MCG and it is arbitrarily designated as our away game we get nothing? And vice versa? Or teams like Geelong in their taxpayer funded ground get the lot when our fans can’t even get in? The spectacle is provided by both teams, why not the takings?

I have mede this point numerous times before - there will be a life changing broken neck unless this is actively discouraged ie a free against the player who goes in head first. Then the AFL will wring its hands and say that the player has no right to stand his ground! The vultures will circle and the ball getter will fade out of our great game.
