  1. Sadly due to the cr@p competition known as VFL Casey have another bye so the Brundy getting to learn forward craft in VFL will have to wait another week.
  2. Can’t remember but did they say the same about PREMIERSHIP defenders May and Lever and PREMIERSHIP winger Langdon or PREMIERSHIP FF BBB? Or Brundy for that matter?
  3. There hasn’t at least for 40 years anything random about the corrupt AFL FIXture How many years in AFL history have every team played each other twice? Serious question.
  4. DD - and you didn’t mention soccer and basketball - as I recall both tried and failed, and bailed. Yet the AFL in their infinite wisdom continue the charade.
  5. Maybe the umpires also.
  6. So it will be downgraded to 2. MFCSS 🙄
  7. 2022 we ran out of puff related to a late start, exhaustion post flag and injuries. Currently coming out of loading. Wait and see. Because sports medicine is a very inexact entity.
  8. Thanks once again for the podcast. binman your passionate analysis (almost) palliates my MFCSS. And your rebuff to Buckley has made my day. Now we just need our team to prove you right. 🤗🤗🤗 ❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙
  9. Wont move it this year but will surely apologise to EssUndone and promise not to make them play there for another 20 years. 😡
  10. Bachman? Johann Sebastian or maybe Carl Phillip Emanuel?
  11. 1/ Like so many others I am very concerned re Kozzie - he seems to have lost all confidence since his suspension round 1. Appears to (though doubt he has) have lost passion and fire. Is there a nagging injury (more than most players usually carry through the season) or something bugging him? (And as a pedant, those who refer to him as disinterested - I suspect they mean uninterested.) 2/ Can we really carry two rucks when neither seem to click up forward when "resting"? I realise that Max had a stellar 2021 September up forward but that whole period was no doubt adrenaline driven and success lead to success. That magic hasn't been repeated - yet! Seems like JVR could do second ruck work especially up forward, though some will no doubt feel that Schache deserves a spot. Thoughts? PS needless to say I just love the podcast - thanks to you all. PPS - are we still loading, binman? 🤔😁
  12. Loved watching Shane play late 1990s early 2000s and was very sad when he moved to Collingwood. I couldn't get to the game but from TV Taj looked composed and balanced - a very sound debut. If he continues to perform well, any ideas on just where he will fit in (as much as there are any 'positions' in today's game)? HB, wing, HF, mid?. As I recall dad started as a HBF and was moved into the midfield after a year or two.
  13. I think I have replied to this elsewhere - VFL is NOT an adequate set up to develop and to rehabilitate players. Bring it back to Victoria and the others can have their local leagues. I guess nobody will be ver know.
  14. I expect that you have a list of prospects in your negative box, SPC fence - the VFL, as it stands, (principally the endless byes, and far too many teams requiring interstate travel for part timers who also have real jobs) is just not a good place to rigorously develop talent, and ease players back from injury. Bring the VFL back to V - the interstate teams can play their "reserves" in their own local competitions. And get an even number of teams FCS - though I guess we will be expected to get used to the rolling bye in AFL as just another inequity in an already grotesquely compromised schedule (amusingly also AKA a 'draw')
  15. The only thing that will shut them up / embarrass them is for us to win big games and in particular GFs - then, even if they continue to criticise IDGAD.
  16. Ha ha Their fans could boo boo boo every play, whether it were a Fremantle Eagles player or an opponent from the far side of the country.
  17. “… But I don't reckon we miss much at all watching on the box ..” Really? The camera work is just so awful, even worse this year. So much zooming in with only rarely showing any perspective of what is going on ahead of the ball / down the ground. I find this really infuriating.
  18. Does it really fit that because Petty might be in doubt his potential replacement wouldn’t play at all today? Then if he pulls up ok Tommo would miss a full match play.
  19. One concern surely is that he will (probably already is) super frustrated and may do "something silly" on the field. Would a week (or two) at Casey give him a chance for some "easy possessions" and help him realise just how good he really is? I am sure his confidence is at a very low ebb. We need him up and firing.
  20. BUMP - firstly, I didn't see the first half. .... but, has he "clicked" and will this give him confidence moving forward forward.
  21. One would think so listening to D'arsey Lets wait for binman and the loading on the Podcast 🤔 Agree with fatigue after the slogfest at Alice last week. GW$ sounds as if they struggled to get over Hawks.
  22. Tracc is back?? Poor old Ben just can't get out of a jog.
  23. How easy was that Saints chain down the wing prior to the McVee free? Uncontested and unchallenged. Not good enough
  24. Bloody awful aren't they? Gresham gets a mark for a 7 meter kick .... bloody goal thanks maggot
