As I recall, the Ox and Neita didn't take 4-5 years to produce. Nor Carey, nor Brown. Sure most big men may take time but there are sone exceptions - hopefully Hogan will be one of them. His body looks ready.

This surely is hysterical because it is historical. How do they rate the totally untried and unproven? For example, how did they rate HWSNBM, Trengove, Watts, etc before they played their first practice match let alone AFL games? For a list with as much turnover as ours this is pure speculation.

I agree - it is time to move on. FCS it was a selection that didn't work out, probably a very bad selection, but we surely have had enough positives this off season recruiting wise to get excited about something. So many here just want to dwell on past mistakes.

Unlike some of his recent predecessors, Neeld will not accept any excuses for laziness or lack of commitment.

I have just run it again and quite right - very predictable and gets away with it at this level.But I do like his pace (again at a lower level) and fierce fearless tackling, good disposal and awareness. Could become a decent AFL player, on the other hand could find himself out of his depth. That surely is what rookie listing is about.

Agree 100%. It is not as if he chose to "escape a tanking club" for more money to go to.......LOL!!!

Probably a better option IMO especially if AFL guarantee a gate and travel is cost neutral. Wasteland games are always run at a loss I believe.

What an absolutely silly premature question: none of us have seen the evidence that will be presented in court so how could anyone comment with anything other than guesswork what will transpire. Regardless of the court findings, Liam did not "do the right thing" by MFC who supported him through his development into AFL and his injuries.
