  1. So, should the teammates lock up their wives? :-(( Or do you mean a freakish arrogant talented forward who will have a huge impact on a generation of footy fans??
  2. I guess if he played as a stay home forward then he can only be in the play when his teammates get it to him. 5 is still impressive on debut at any level.....needs to build on it, and build his body over the next pre seasons.
  3. Thanks BBQ And I guess when finals are out of the question then an even more conservative approach is sensible.
  4. All credit to him for putting in the hard work prior to and during season 2014 and turning his career around. It was on the line and he did the right thing. Sure 2015 hasn't been as good for him personally but I look forward to this game.
  5. Interesting that King bagged 5 but not mentioned in the official best list. KC or others - did he do much else than kick those goals? And forward ruck work? Also interested in comments on - Dawes - OMcD Thanks
  6. Yes. I was meaning the development mob were missing King Sounds as if he has made a pretty reasonable debut :-)
  7. Looks like the Dockers will just hang on. Horrible game though.
  8. Went through or bounced off?
  9. Bloody hell, how good is Blicavs??
  10. I hope to hell that our guys are made to watch this game as a group. They might see just what sustained intensity really looks like. Finals like pressure
  11. How about just kicking it where he ain't?!?!
  12. Heffernan, Moorcroft :-(((( Certainly pass on him now.
  13. Papp certainly seems to be able to communicate well with the players. Reminds me a bit of Mark Williams the Sandy coach in that regard. Encouraging and teaching, not ranting and raving like some coaches. waht si wnorg wthi dylsxelia? Surely better to give away a free (and maybe even the occasional 50) than allowing them to take so many uncontested marks. Let them worry about what is coming.
  14. You beat me to it JJC. Barassi was hard but fair. Not the maggots greatest mate which is why he didn't get too far on Brownlow night, but if I recall the Dean "incident" was the only suspension he was given, and we all know that it would have been laughed out of the tribunal here days. Matthews was just a plain vicious thug - McMullin and Bruns stick in my mind most. Judd was far more sneaky and did his work in close.
  15. Thanks for that information Can any of the physios who post here give us some idea about hamstring rehabilitation, both with and without surgery. I guess there must be all grades from a slight tweak to the full Monty like Kent and FIGJAM.
  16. Jeez...you are even more pedantic than me
  17. Not so sure he would actually drag us backwards.....just wouldn't contribute at all to the forward journey.
  18. Yeah. I think we all acknowledge that he has been slow off the mark - no need to reiterate it every time his name comes up. Why not be happy that he is making real progress without rehashing the past? I am happy anyway. :-)))))
  19. Year. Automobile correct cane bee a batch.
  20. What did the hammie group do in that 30 minutes? Gentle laps? Any hints as to whether they are all 426??
  21. Yes...but apart from that what have the Romans done for us? Profound insightful comment that is.
  22. So true, Ernest. I would every year make a play for Junior - and apologize for <whoever was in charge of the list the New>'s manner of dumping him. Does the tribunal yet approach FIFA in terms of levels or corruption? Maybe not quite, but getting there. Champion football player: ordinary leader and ordinary citizen. Matthews was far less subtle than Judd. Would play only a handful of games a season under the MRP regimen.
  23. Sorry. I didn't make it clear. The 'he' I was referring to is big Max. Should have made it clearer.
  24. Yeah. I heard someone complaining that Hawthorn (last year) never played anyone above them, while we always did! :-)
