Surely Gil would ask his mates at Sporsbet to tell him the odds on that question. They could offer progressive odds as the saga unfolded, and flash it across the scoreboards and TV screens.

Wormburner - I haven't had the chance to see him. Where would you see him playing at this stage? Flank? Forward? Back? Hopefully eventually KPP forward or back? -

Unless you name is Luke Hodge. He should be able to maintain fitness in the pool and gym just not too much twisting and weight bearing. This really opens up a round 1 spot for Trac and / or Oliver (silver lining to the cloud). -
Gil and his acolytes have dragged the AFL through the mud - time to get rid of them all. Bloody disgrace.

dazzle - you have asked my question. where is White? -
The rantings of a senile old has been Kev - WADA don't have to "know a lot about AFL": they do know how to weed out drug cheats though. Clearly he doesn't give a toss about the ideal of a drug free competition.

That is a massive enema through the very bowels of the club.

Choke - the school is St Bernard's - I doubt if anyone there has any doubt that the Bombers were innocent victims of a huge conspiracy by AFL, ASADA, WADA, CAS, ISIS, the UN and the Catholic Church (well, maybe not the latter).

Is it paranoia if they actually are out to get you? They do love their 'test cases' to be tried on the 'lesser clubs'. Imagine had any of those unprecedented cases been against a Collingwood player - just would not have happened. If my memory serves me correctly, our Allen Jakovich was the one and only player ever suspended for wrestling, and that in a practice match. -

Hopefully the only cup they will get their hands on. Bit seriously, if this is worthy of AFL investigation, whilst they pander to drug cheats, then it is becoming a code hardly worth supporting. -
It would also be totally uncharacteristic, in fact a precedent. AFL - decisive, leadership, even handed - dream on.

FCS why the free...unless TO Oliver for incorrect disposal / holding the ball? -
We should rest Gawn, Hoges and Salem for the Dogs

Palace. You stole the words from my mouth. It was that amazing finals series from the Ox - the Carlton game was a stunner. We could all see him preparing to eclipse Carey. Unfortunately he was concussed in the dying moments of the Footscray game and was just about unsighted the following week vs ?Dockers. Then the knee the following preseason ? -
Interesting to read your observations on Salem. Was that watching live or on TV? Poor defensive positioning meaning wrong side of his opponent or trailing him? I also read that the acting captain gave them a serve at the end of the half time break. Good to hear that there is some leadership out there.

Good call - my only worry is the bloody MRP who this year will penalize "hard tackles". FCS the Oliver one at the weekend wasn't even really hard. Just solid.

May depend a bit on the weather. Predicted low 20s in Melbourne. -

Don't flirt with form or momentum. That said, it wouldn't be a bad thing to give Spencer (assuming fit) a run to asses his mettle, and for that reason only, but not to "protect" gawnius maximus, would I consider not playing him. -
What is this year's version of carry over points etc? In other words does this totally improper fine give him "a record"?

I seem to remember some talk of TheOx having genetically poor collagen which contributed to his initial injury, and his second recurrence. -
Pinning the arms to prevent correct disposal is what we have always been taught.....but now it may be deemed "wrong". Pinned arms make a player "defenseless" in a fall. If you pun the arms of a strong player he may not go to ground: pin a skinny tint and he will, and could hit his head Typical MRP using a Demon in a test case. Move on.
-
Let us see - haven't see e weekend game yet - how he goes when he has capable runners around him, NB Salem, and players down the ground who are prepared to run to offer options. How much of his indecision / getting caught / poor disposal under pressure is a result of lack of support and options. Not too fussed by his not signing yet.

Acknowledging Jordie's skill deficiencies, if every player on our list got as much out of their potential as did Jordie, we would be a bloody good side. Top 4. For too long, up until now, many have not. Jordie's endeavour and work ethic should be held as a target for all. Looking forward to Clarrie having a long and distinguished career in the R&B. -

WTF - 2014 Hogan, 2015 Petracca, not 2016 Brayshaw, surely. I thought that the NSC had been exorcised. -

Don't for even a microsecond think I am feeling sorry for them because I do not in any way, but EssUndone don't have the luxury of letting Parish simmer away in the seconds for a few months:. they will just have to dose him up and send him out there from game 1.
