  1. Perhaps because he is inconsistent and that he seems pretty clueless.
  2. I see Frotsy as more of a gazelle - leaping, jumping then running like hell. Not [censored] brother, but one who at this stage doesn't look like being a contributor compared to his bro (for injury reasons) is KK. OMG - have you heard that Geelong have signed him up :-((
  3. “Goodwin: When you’re a new player to a footy club all you want to do is show off the hard work you’ve done. Steven hasn’t had the chance to do that yet, but his attitude towards his training has been great.” Hasn't actually been able to show off what he hasn’t actually done seems more to the point. Hasn't given himself the chance more to the point.
  4. Of course I would be happy in any way were Clarrie suspended for the same offense, but the big difference is that he probably would have been. Now if Gablett was suspended then it could be a confirmation that the AFL is actually consistent in their pious claims that the head is always sacrosanct, and flowing that we’re Clarrie to do the same and get suspended whilst not happy I would understand. But it is the blatant consistent inconsistency and clear bias towards certain players, two Geelong “superstars” already being cleared of what many would not, that angers many.
  5. .... load management ..... is Misson moonlighting from a logistics firm?
  6. Burnside will do exactly what is expedient at the time.
  7. TPF 39. Couldn’t agree more. I have had my say numerous times regarding disrespect being shown to players who despite trying their darndest, and having been successful in being selected for AFL lists turn out not to be stars (or even making the grade at all) being referred to as spuds or worse. They obviously don’t understand that there is in all populations a normal distribution in which a large percentage are in the middle and small numbers at each end. There always has to be someone at the left end of the bell curve. That doesn’t make them spuds or duds. They have at least achieved what most of us could only dream of. Perhaps it is they who are at the left end of the bell curve when it comes to normal human empathy.
  8. Surely it depends, like elbows to the head, who you are and which team you play for. Like all things AFL, there is a predetermined pecking order.
  9. 85 points total (12 goals only) Adelaide v Freo. WOW - Gill and Shocking's idea that 666 and all the other crap rule changes would result in higher scoring is a huge success, like everything else they meddle with.
  10. Christian will be composing his weasel word judgement now - " judge not lest ye be judged" "accidental, high contact, low impact - player came back on"
  11. Well preferably not both, but Weid yes. Exactly. But then respect doesn’t seem to be a modern anti-social media trait.
  12. Because they have had such a lot of time and played so much in blending into our backline??
  13. If we happen to pull off a surprise win in a heavy downpour perhaps this will have contributed. ?
  14. Fitness ..... physical and / or mental? And an apparent lack of interest and commitment, at times.
  15. Similar things were said of the late Colin Sylvia. Trac has yet to prove himself to be a consistent contributor rather than a flash in the pan type player.
  16. Is that you, Titus? IF he started now we may have an answer for preseason 2020.
  17. Does that mean it was just puppy fat we saw?
  18. By all accounts he didn’t show much interest in preparing for 2019. A massive let down.
  19. Round 1 our players showed how seriously they took the team and the game - and all down hill since.
  20. Why do the supposedly professional organisations known as MFC & AFL still list him in websites as number 0?
  21. So he is a dud ( offensive term at the worst of times) but for a bottom aged first year player I just cannot respect anyone using such terminology PS I too hope you are very wrong
  22. So Master* Elegt You have seen a lot of Jordan up close over a long period to come to this opinion I presume * presuming you are male but perhaps you are from Tasmania so haven’t yet had an opportunity to decide
  23. Even before the Geelong final last year I held huge optimism for Sam becoming at least a very good MFC forward. His, together with the team as a whole, has been a depressingly awful year so far. Of more concern to me with this consistent underperforming is the loss of ability to attract, or even hold star players. Six months ago we were “a destination club”: no longer unless the team and the coaching and fitness staff rapidly pull their collective fingers out and start winning and playing attractive watchable footy.
