I loved all his touches at the weekend but particularly his third goal - absolutely classical small forward crumbing, which we have so sorely lacked: seeing the high ball coming in, evading his opponent, snapping up the expected spill from the pack .... BANG!!!❤️❤️

It seems that the players are prepared to back and show confidence in each other, and make second, third and fourth efforts (Kosi in particular). Improved kicking for goal however remains elusive.

So true — even pre COVID it was second rate, with shorter season plus byes, but now it lets down the emerging and returning players big time. Haven’t been able to see the Saints game yet, but by several accounts Jackson’s run in the ruck was very important in turning the tide around.
