The AFL "Integrity Unit" should 1/ investigate the MRO/MRP 2/ investigate the state of umpiring 3/ investigate the Integrity Unit 4/ disband Absolutely a misnomer - very very selectively investigates who it like and ignores what it doesn't want to know - like the FBI snd the Hunter Biden laptop.

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND: DANIEL TURNER
Did you miss my attempt at the irony emoji?

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND: DANIEL TURNER
Maybe May will have to come back via Casey if Disco turns it on? ๐ค

TEAMS: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
I thought that Rosman has been out injured. But from whatI hear he is getting close, though not as was originally intended as a wingman, but as a defender. Well I am certain Ginivan will get a whole lot of frees in front of goal - AFL has decreed.

As mentioned earlier, the restaurant may wish to let this die down quickly. Without even in the slightest excusing the behaviour of our players, the restaurant's licence does include fairly strict guidelines and rules about the responsible serving of alcohol, including requirements NOT to serve to intoxicated persons. They may not want to rock the boat.

The Importance of keeping humble as supporters
I was very close to moving seats - in the MCC a couple of old codgers were just denigrating our players at every opportunity - "no skills", "not trying", "never play him again" referring to maybe 8 or 10 players. I presume that he would want us playing with about 10 or 12 on the field. I do get a bit agitated / animated at times but this was bloody awful.

Tasmanian AFL Team
Politically, maybe, but if the AFL are concerned regarding falling attendances, then have they considered just how many fans they may lose if their clubs has to stand aside for an unnecessary bye. Some teams will need to have a bye in rounds 1, or 2 or 3: others will get them in the last few weeks of a season. Will they also continue with the mid season bye, and the pre-finals bye? That will be just about enough for many wavering followers.

I was wondering if Entrecรดte have been a little constrained as it does seem that a contributing factor may involve their breaching responsible serving of alcohol regulations. ๐ง

CHANGES: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Which actually means absolutely nothing. He has to debut sometime and he ainโt JW.
-
Daniel McStay
What about if Melbourne can either beat Brisbane in a GF at the MCG, or knock them out of the race before that?
-
CHANGES: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Cannot compare. JW was #1 draft, and had had only a handful of VFL games. Turner is in his ?third year.

IF Melksham ever plays again any "tough guy" opponents will call him on missing the GF and how it has effected him. Clearly has serious anger management issues and a tendency to violence. Maybe I am a wowser, but every time there is a big fight on violence seems to surge.

Jake Melksham to miss Round 13
"Another consequence of Steven Mayโs Melksham's actions " - so did May bite his hand? Surely if one choses to punch and injures your hand it is not the fault of the guy who is hit.

Yes I said the midfield as a whole contributed, as did the defensive unit, but I didnโt pick out individuals as the ones who cost us the game. The team (or lack of) cost us the game.

Defeatism never wins anything. And the lack of midfield pressure didnโt contribute?? That is an awful comment about OUR players
-
CHANGES: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Yep. Ginivan to get three frees in front of goal before the first bounce.

Steven May Suspended by the Club
He doesnโt need it after recent โperformancesโ And another 4 letter word, also containing f Seruoudly, this is a pivotal moment in OUR clubโs season. May is our most important player in the backline, and we have lost two perhaps largely due to his absence for 7 quarters - now, looking for him to return and add stability and leadership, and ๐ฅ Win (if this fires up the remaining players a hell of a lot we may yet do it) or lose, he owes his teammates and us supporters big time for the rest of the year.

Petty must play forward ( if fit )
Nobody was particularly good in 2019 - so hard to judge him on that.
-
CHANGES: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Please elaborate on your last point. Both Browns out for whom? Sydney did a brilliant job of isolating him and other defenders so they couldn't help each other. And why canโt we try the same tactic instead of all our forwards going for the same ball? Lack of discipline? Forgetting the successful self sacrifice tactic of 2021?
-
Entire forward line standing still
โฆ. and last week v Freo too. We need a strongly built, skilled deep KPP forward, with a touch of mongrel. Neita would have been a perfect fit into this team.

CHANGES: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Pickett through individual solo efforts set up at least three of our goals. Yes, crude stats underwhelming but did you see the game ?

NON-MFC: Round 12, 2022
How about both??
-
CHANGES: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
I donโt know who we have but the last two weeks we have been comprehensively outmarked both in defence and up forward. Turner is listed at 194 cm but how is his spoil and leap? If so could he relieve Petty to go forward for either Brown. And can someone list the players who missed with covid a month or 6 weeks back? As I recall Bbb and Jackson were amongst them - have they fully recovered?
-
CHANGES: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Very sad performances - I just wonder how much is residue from Covid? Seems to lack any energy. Who were the others who missed with Covid? Was Petracca one of them? Stilllacks his previous spark. BBB needs a rest, and I mean a rest not playing at Casey if he hasn't fully recovered. Maybe just a bit too radical but play Max predominantly at FF, Jacko at CHF, both with some ruck duties with Majak. From the little I saw today Majak seems do Ruch well and ruck to advantage - maybe VFL position mids aren't nearly as smart at VFL ones, but even when Max dominated the whiteouts they don't always translate to output.

VOTES: Rd 12 vs Sydney
GAWNIUS MAXIMUS GUS CLARRIE JORDON LANGDON BOWEY Special mentions to Harry Petty for battling on on one leg, and to Kozzie for some incredible solo pressure efforts that lead directly to a couple of our early gaols.
