  1. Which club do you support? I must say I haven't seen this coming 5 points up.
  2. The incessant booing at nothing controversial is ever worse than WCE fans
  3. Getting absolutely slaughtered in clearances - costing us any hope of winning this.
  4. May contacted high after dropping that mark - play on.
  5. Give him credit where it is due - a strong contested mark and nice kick.
  6. What a sad half from Melbourne Max I hate to say is too interested in appealing for frees. Need huge lift from our “elite” mids, and our “twin AA” rucks.
  7. FFS 3 throws against Oliver, none against Port. Further conspiracy theory reinforcement or MFCSS.
  8. Lambs to the slaughter at the moment Game getting out of control
  9. Pure speculation on my part, but as I understand Clarko has been a big fan of having a Tasmanian team. Was he perhaps given to believe by AFL that North would be moved to Tasmania, and then the advent of the 19th team he felt another knife in the back from HQ?
  10. Very smart gamesmanship. Can AFL please quote the rule that he has breached? I guess we should be so grateful to Michael Christian for not suspending him for a month on another trumped up charge that is not in the rule book.
  11. Maybe, but at whose expense?
  12. Reports were that he didn’t train Monday. FCS Woey is on his second year at a top club and hasn’t broken in yet. Give him time.
  13. As I hear Harmes wasn’t training Monday I suspect that the person you are calling Champion is anything but - Michael Christian. He is anything but impartial and has an agenda, either his own or called from HQ.
  14. Blancmange is indeed a ripper word, though chocolate blancmange is of course an oxymoron (except I concede if the chocolate happens to be of the white variety). Point is though that Day's arms were not pinned, in fact he fell forward and did not appear to attempt to brace himself. Do you mean his decisions are made by the vacuum, that occupies his cranium? And he doesn't make them without input - often only those highlighted by the media get looked at, JVR exhibit #1.. He has very clearly been given a task beyond his capabilities and lacks impartiality.
  15. Is there full footage of this “attack”. The only clip shown shows him falling out of picture.
  16. I am sure many here would just love to see Joel Smith get a run up forward, BUT only if he is match fit. He has had (I think) only one competitive outing in nigh on 12 months.
  17. I didn’t see many other games over the weekend - usually there are many similar tackles? Were there others and did Christian cite them?
  18. Sparrow - Christian’s weekly scapegoat
  19. Are we lead by a Chamberlain, or a Churchill??
  20. If Christian has called it on the vision shown in the news clip then he is very very clearly being vindictive towards the club that showed him up for the absurd farce we endured with JVR last week. It is definitely long overdue for him to be replaced with an unbiased fair and intelligent MRO. Tackles such as Sparrow's occur multiple times in a game and do not get reported.
  21. Once again many thanks for your entertaining and informative podcast which I look forward to every week. Our taller / tallish KPP players continue to tantalize and confuse. Clearly May and Lever are our two primary defenders, but who if any is the third? Petty probably is the best but he is needed up forward for now at least and provided a great contest in the first half today. Disco? Tomlinson? Adams presumably at least a year away but is he showing signs at Casey? Do we need to pinch another developed tall defender in the trade period? The recently liberated JVR is developing beautifully but slowly as one would expect of anyone in his role, and it is a hell of a lot to ask him him to be the key, yet. Petty showed great signs before injury today and looked like a breakout was coming. Sadly I doubt if we see either BB or TMcD near their best again, due to chronic injuries. Jefferson, like Adams in defence, looks at least a year or two away. Brundy and Max fill in well but is this sustainable as a preferred option? How about Joel Smith if he can keep his body together? And of course our 6 goal GF premiership forward, Frittata, plays as a sort of tall but has been down on touch in recent games. Interested in your thoughts on these key areas, both short term and medium term.
  22. Another solid though not spectacular game in a developing tall forward. Will take time but remains ultra competitive and not deterred by the “events of the week”. Keep up the development and team things and he will go a long long way.
  23. Viney Pertacca Oliver Rivers Brayshaw Hibberd
  24. Clarry and Vinnie both exceptional artists in their respective fields
  25. Tarax Club. Agree re ANB - underrated as usual
