  1. Zero pressure. Neeld sort of stuff. Goingbhome at half time.
  2. Good luck trying to integrate a "conscripted" player into a playing group - Jim Tilbrook says "hi", and he wasn't conscripted.
  3. Cripps looked totally incredulous that this happened. “Look, it’s me!!”
  4. dazzle - just wondering are you implying some conspiracy theory, or favouritism on the part of the match committee? It appears that they see something in Tom Sparrow that you do not. Only a few weeks back some here were complimenting Jefferson's intensity in contested marking. It is his first season and we will expect some inconsistency. I for one won't write him off just yet.
  5. This should be very simple actually. Surely a correct tackle ie not high, not in the back, should be required for any HTB free. Otherwise a clear free to the guy tackled. Protect the guy making the play before the lurking vultures.
  6. How about 4.33 cubits?
  7. Depends on who and when - Georgiadis from Port has been talked up a bit (though there were also some rumours today that he could have a serious knee injury). easier said than done - he would, if he put his name up, go into the draft and we have no special claims on our VFL team. "...Sparrow has done nothing since 2021 and gets a free ride...." I think that I a bit over the top. He is a hard worker, strong tackler, and is the future, unlike Dunstan who is definitely a back up.
  8. Is this to appease the “just kick it long” element in the grandstands? 🙄
  9. rpfc - still not sold on Max being included as a tall forward on a permanent / regular basis, but with TMc and BBB looking closer to the end we do have Jefferson developing OK at Casey, and Shack in similar age demographics as Georgiades. I wouldn’t discard interest completely, but not to me a top priority.
  10. Jack Dyer was a classic I remember on MFC game when he said around ¾ time “ O’Derwiyer* has had a pretty quiet game today” to which his fellow commentator said “Jack - he isn’t playing today” *our #1 Strawbs, Jimma #37/11 partner in crime.
  11. Saw it - a deliberate knee in the back the same week that AFL HQ announced that this was not going to tolerated yet no free let alone a report. Sickening hypocrites. Cox must be licking his lips.
  12. So is poor Joel injured again / still injured?
  13. And PS. He says he loves living in Melbourne. Need to get him Into Kozzie’s ear.
  14. 🐰🥕 - what’s up, Doc? Don’t mess with overexertimg and flu. Can have very very serious consequences.
  15. Fabulous interview thanks. Judd sounds like a very well adjusted, confident and committed young man. There will of course be ups and downs but he is handling things brilliantly so far. 👏👏
  16. Podsiadly. Frittata. hopefully Sestan will follow them from obscurity into Premiership players.
  17. Maybe this week is time for Shack and bring Gawn in v Norf? Or would it be too radical to play Max this week and play Shack v Norf. Don't know who is their other ruckman ?
  18. LTI list? What does this allow in 2023? Nelo - certainly does this year. No idea if any priors.
  19. Don’t worry. There will be a first suspension sometime and undoubtedly a Demon. The MRO is such an inconsistent office.
  20. Probably not the right thread but the TMc knee to the back wasn’t even a free as I recall …. barely a week after the AFL reiterated that it would not be tolerated. When Cox returns he will feel that he has free rein. Such typical AFL hypocrisy / double standard.
  21. Can the sky be the limit if, according to the thread title, it is falling? Could it meet us its way down? 🙄🙄😱😱
  22. Like you, I see Sestan as very low risk, potentially very high ceiling. Trust in JT.
  23. old dee - I don't recall anyone even dreaming that Oliver Sestan could play AFL in 2023. Many however may wish and hope that he can be a massive surprise packet in the next few years. Any impact would be a huge bonus.
