Maybe .... but a 50 m penalty varies from around 35 - 55 m, so if they can't get that measurement right how will they go with a 25? 15 - 45? They are miked up and GPS tracked - it should be relatively easy for "upstairs" to tell then exactly where the mark should be.

It would be great if we had some other fit and in form forward talls, but we don’t at present so have to make do. Stopping the bounce may encourage more to take up umpiring.
