NON-MFC: Rd 11 2023
Will Frankenstein be suspended for the hip to the head, Mr Impartial Christian? No. Nothing to see.

NON-MFC: Rd 11 2023
I was very confused. For a few moments I thought Port Adelaide must have shown up. My hobby horse - running headlong into a pack or a player (Butters) must be penalised, and possibly suspended.

Training Ground?
Hawks are mobile - sent them to Tassie 1858 - I suspect more than a few Hawks fans bought at Waverley Park for just that reason - and are probably feeling very [censored] off that they are moving again. “… Are there other medical / useful businesses in the proximity that provide useful synergies around remaining there? ..” I misread the word synergies as syringes and immediately thought of The Hangar Pity we didn’t put the word on Alan Stockdale when he held the state pursestrings.

Will you BOO Luke Jackson this weekend?
I would only booooo IF he did something on the ground that would warrant such a reaction to any other player. Otherwise I have moved on as has he. The reflex boooooing from Port and WCE in particular to any opposition possession or football action is just pathetic. Even brilliant goals or marks gets them going. 🤮🤮🤮

Conspiracy
I agree that Norf seems to have stuffed up big time here. But part of the interchange steward's remit is to monitor the numbers. What happens if the club has it right and the steward overcounts? Could change an important game like a GF. Surely they should be required to tell the club that time's up and not just lurk like a vulture waiting to assert their authority?

Lachie Hunter Loses Bid To Overturn 1 Week Suspension
You are sure of this - in the magic Christian 0.3 seconds perhaps?

Well hopefully when he rolled he exorcised his curse.

Trust In This Team
Kieren - great post and I agree with most of it. However this needs a tweak: “…..when did you, as a team, create success? When you had consistency & cohesion & trust. When you had the same 22 fellas running out to kick the sherrin,….” I think that “the same 22” may offer some stability but 2022 showed that basic the same 22 who got us the ultimate in 2021 has limited shelf life and a failure to renew cost us in 2022. That has been addressed this year, partly through necessity of injury and form collapses.

But were the closed for Gleeson’s magic 0.3 seconds, or more, or less. Not that he of limited mental capacity, Mr Christian (was he a Bounty descendent by the way?) even made Mr Gleeson consider this vital piece of information.

Lachie Hunter Loses Bid To Overturn 1 Week Suspension
Wouldn’t it be logical that whilst he had his eyes on the ball most of the time he would have had to glance at the kamikaze Rozee at least mementarily? And what rule says that one cannot glance to see what is coming? I seem to recall that Gleeson somehow in the JVR case seemed to determine that his eyes deviated from the ball for 0.3 seconds - what absolute cr@p from Gleeson. How can that even be determined let alone be against any rule in the book? Gleeson seems to be able to make things up on the fly - he is a lawyer I guess and that is what they do. And you are surprised that what many may believe is a corrupt arm of a corrupt organisation comes to corrupt decisions? Starts with the inept Christian who didn’t even asses the impact correctly - took a guess.

Lachie Hunter Loses Bid To Overturn 1 Week Suspension
But the AFL "integrity of the game" mantra is that nobody has any idea of who is leading in the Downlow at any time - not even 2022 at a round or 3 before the finals. And Santa and the tooth fairy will be good to you if you behave.

Interesting two multiple flag winning coaches, both of whom brought their teams up from the mire to sustained success coaching now struggling sides, leave in a matter of days. Is the fall from grace too much to manage??

Is this available in any other format? Won’t open for me. They will release what they want released when they want it released. Maybe playing games with Freo?

TRAINING: Monday 22nd May, 2023
Actually, not wishing to be too pedantic - OK, I am 🙄 - he, like all of us, have three on each side. Maybe the scan showed no tear at all and he was just suffering from cramp? Doesn’t sound like he would be allowed to, or feel able to do, those exercises were there any tear at all.

He is neither impartial nor that bright. In the interests of what HQ love to refer to as “the integrity of the game ” (though I doubt there is much of that) it is time that every “incident” looked at by the MRO should have footage released and detailed reasoning given as to what decision making process (if any) he undertook. At least it should / could be educational to the playing group. PS won’t happen.

It is just not the (I am one eyed by the way) anti MFC bias that I see, but even in neutral games we see certain teams always get the doubtful decision go their way. Be it conspiracy or just ineptitude it makes the game hard to watch. And as mentioned the biased scheduling and travelling schedules are there for the benefit of the “special clubs”.

Sure, if he was tackled correctly, absolutely no problem with HTB. But he wasn’t and if there is any thought that the ball player must be prioritised rather than the vulture tackler then correct tackle must be the first KPI.

Caminiti suspended for four weeks
The Sachse incident is exactly why I keep banging on about penalising a player who dives kamikaze like into a pack or another player. It will sadly happen again. The action needs to be vigorously discouraged and a free kick against (and certainly not a free for high contact) paid consistently would minimise this highly dangerous practice. Concussion is bad enough: paraplegia is immediately and permanently life changing, for everyone involved.

CASEY: Rd 09 vs North Melbourne
Joel seemed to be in it early but had few possessions for his 3 goals. Was he deprived of opportunities or injured or unfit?

2023 Injury List
Do any of the armchair experts KNOW that he or anyone else actually knew that had anything other than cramp, at the time? Just asking. The game was on the line at the time and he was needed and presumably was thought to be ok by himself and those able to assess him on the spot.
