  1. Running back with the flight of the ball, so bloody brave. Never ever will I move on, if Maynard had owned it and apologized then maybe, but the victim blaming and BS about what he could have done, was next level garbage.

Lady Luck is a cruel mistress too. Re whether Bevo is loved or not, feels like he had a few scallywags to deal with, whereas Melbourne's better players seem like strong culture setters. Out of interest who are your examples? Barassi/Mathews? I loathed Malthouse but people who were inside said he was the Horse whisperer at Collingwood when it came to dealing with players. I still feel like he was part of a Collingwood plot to make Carlton bad. Tommy Hafey didn't get the Pies over the line but jeez they were up for a long time, he wasn't popular in the club with players.

Oliver Viney ANB - why no love? Langdon May Rivers - went missing after a blistering 1st qtr. Apologies - McVee

Beveridge must be sitting back laughing at all the arm chair critics, he's had a plan and stuck to it despite an unbelievable amount of noise. Feels like Goodwin's career parallels his, wins a flag, receives constant sniping despite being the Dog's most successful coach just like Goodwin has been since Smith. Kudos to him, he dropped the blokes who didn't want to stick with the plan, has come up with a solid defense and now they look ace. Lobb and Jones are looking like Lever and May. If we don't win am more than happy for the Dogs to win and stick it up every media critic who have had Bevo in their sights. Carlton are defensive phonies. Freo and Brisbane look dangerous, Swans have got speed wobbles but not jumping off them. Not sure what when wrong with North, don't respect Stewart at your peril.

Imagine a world where Carlton Collingwood and Essendon are out of the 8, make the dream real, just a pity the Cats are on their 13th bloody life.

I’m thinking in terms of the rest of the season, quite frankly we need to win the next 4 games, incl GC away which will be tough. I like the idea of Carlton not having a home final.

I don’t see Port winning as a disaster for us, great seeing Carlton fall over, I would describe Port as the SA equivalent of Carlton, mirror image of promise much deliver little.

I am not joking when I say tougher than Matthews, and 5 times a better human. When I was a little kid I was sad Leigh didn't play for us, even though I adored Robbie, I wanted that tough and hard player that was feared. Now I say I prefer Jack in every respect.

Would help if they published his weight so everyone on the site like me could give a considered medical opinion. But seriously if I had to bet I would put a months salary on he's done for the year.

I think it's unlikely don't get me wrong, maybe 1/10 not 0/10 but not fairytale either. However as you point out two lots of anaesthesia can be the hardest thing to work through depending on how you react. On tje other hand may e I've been watching too many action hero movies.

Why? Serious question, if we do well over the next 5 games and were top 4, you don’t think they’d be some some discussions amongst coach and player. If he is doing any running in August AND we are playing well, the drums will start to beat.

Much easier to see Tom Morris going somewhere else than Clarry. Getting trolled by mates about this my comment was: [18/7, 11:28 am] Mark: You're seriously trolling me with some [censored] from Morris and Cornes, they're not even muppets, they make as much sense as teletubbies [18/7, 12:19 pm] Mark: And these teletubbies are even less correct than a stopped clock.
  15. You know you have got under the skin when Herb posts a video... evil 😈

Tom Morris = Dr Death, worst Melbourne supporter ever.
  18. Last comment on that tackle, reminded me of George Gregan in the Rugby Test against NZ. Not that I would even want to lose him to the sport but Kozzie would be an amazing back rower for Australia. He has a step as good as the great Campese.
  19. Occasionally watch a game with a charming bloke on here as Nairobi Demon in Kenya when passing through. Somalia it's all round ball for the locals and rugby.
  20. VID-20240716-WA0000.mp4 The evolution of Kozzie. I was rewatching the game, don't judge I live in a shipping container in Somalia. Anyway I noticed this kozzie tackle where he body checked the guy fiercely in the 2nd qtr but released him almost straight away. I thought this was a win for the player and the coaches. A year ago Kozzie would have driven him into the ground. Love that he has learnt to control the aggression.
  21. Exactly who I was thinking of, same height, weight and position.
  22. Freo is better coached than the Bombers, no way Pickett/Melks don't have some work put into them (I think everyone will have watched that Essendon game) Rivers also will be on watch. We were underestimated by the arrogant Essendon brains trust, Freo will be switched on and smarting. Bowsa's kicking is off, regardless of his DE%, his kicks are floating and putting the receiver under pressure. He's brave etc but I want to see him pull the trigger quicker. I would change him for whoever is the best mark not playing, Hore? Sparrow, don't know what to do with him, maybe a run with role? he's not winning enough of his own ball. Curious to know if he's playing a role I don't understand. Am concerned about Jackson and the Freo mids they seemed way too fleet for us last time.
  23. Swings and roundabouts, we got done the same way a week ago, trying to remember those involved in the incident.
  24. At least he is a windsock that can say sorry, likes a bet both ways does Kingy, but have definitely heard him say he's got it wrong more than once. All the other bubble heads are in the tape room running a powerful magnet over their prognostications.
  25. 2x50m bombs with a wet ball, no disrespect to Spargs but #9 would be a fitting number in a few years.
