Not an adequate assessment of ruckwork.

Voting directions - That Elephant in the room

Totally against Kennett. One of the most divisive public figures in the state. A loose canon (eg sack Clarkson after round one) Send Melbourne to Gold Coast or whatever. He says things for the sake of hearing his own voice. May have some skills and contacts, but little wisdom. All about Jeff. It didn't take long for the board to see you cann't work with the Gutnicks and thus the Kennetts of this world. Both want to be saviours. Its all about the Joseph's and the Jeffs...forget the club -
Why is this a separate thread. Niall's article is just one side of the story. He claimed he didn't have room to put the many mistakes that have been made. Last week one of the newspapers had the two arguments side by side. We know this was the keep him argument. It's okay if you think this way. Some in the clubd do. But many don't. It's already been expressed elsewhere.

Hard tough players seems to have helped improve since Bailey. NOT.

Yes it would seem silly, but a big lossd (I think our backline is going to be shattered - Cloke 10 ) but a two week break may beareason it could happen this week. But I doubt it.

Great to hear your opinion. No I don't care about the spelling. I am more worried about your assessment. I don't recall a team so disorganised on the field, and playing with such lack of energy or unity as this team does. It's no simple answer. But while the players are the ones who must change, the head coach has to carry responsibility. He is paid to get the team to perform. If he cann't effect change he must go. Our record must be in the bottom few percent of poor performances ever. That has got to change and it will take something drastic.

Casey Scorpions v Collingwood and Debt Demolition Day

I thought Couch was a rookie. In my opinion just another of Neelds list cloggers. -
The most divisive man in Victoria. Maybe competent, maybe influential, certainly a loose cannon. Absolutely divides a community. Neeld has already done that. We don't need someone to consolidate a fragmented club. In Jeffs case, its all about Kennett. Have never known him to be a figure who unites. Our club is powerful in its own potential, at the moment we just need someone who we can all follow as one. Unity is our best course of action. Peter Jackson already has us all trusting and following. There are other very competent people out there who can do the same.

Changes v Pies *Pls spare comments about coach etc
Harrisonrules replied to DeeSpencer's topic in Melbourne Demons
Totally agree. He is still the leading knock ruckman on the field week in week out. His style upsets other ruckmen. Totally neutralises opposition ruck. That's a great asset for us -
Wow...an awful lot of imagination in this reflection. ...and vitriol.

GM Football Operations - Steven Icke?

Elaborate -
I've heard he is very highly regarded as a football administrater

Likewise, king is giving his opinion. Turn him off is he upsets you. Your vitriol just upsets you no one else
-
Sorry to say your comments probably say more about you than king. I'm probably not alone in valuing his comments.

It does not matter the process. If the coach left it to the players without his affirmation, then it is a further black mark on his incompetent leadership. At the end of the day it is his decision. He is responsible. My opinion is he did not see the downside of the decision and prevent it. Yes inadequate leadership. And don't forget this was in the context of sacking the entire leadership team of the previous year. That in itself would have caused a psychological split in the team. -

Robbo has just recently been employed by the club. That is fantastic. I understand his role is to help with the promotion of the club for financial purposes. To spruik on the interior dynamics of player relationships can hardly be reliable for he is speaking of what he has been told. One side of the equation remains untold. People pick up information from a range of sources such as family members. There is loads more than the spin that comes from any one person. What do people make of the information now in the public domain that jarrod rivers was offered a mere 100.000 to stay. No not 100.000 extra to stay. 100.000 in total. As I say there is so much more than any one knows. The MFC community has drastically broken down. -
