Who the hell besides a few thousand Dees and Port supporters wants to watch a game as it turns out between both sides seconds. They finished 14th and 16th. Then add in it is being played in Renmark. Any telecaster with half a brain would not cart all their equipment to Renmark for 7- 8000 viewers. If you were running Foxtel would you?

Interesting term 100% billy.In my view a player that has done no running for 8 months and has just started doing sprints will not be fully fit for another four months. Otherwise why do all players start full training 4 months before the first game. On that basis he will not be 100% till at least the end of June. I find it hard to believe he will not be played before then if his foot is ok. So IMO he will play at less than 100% PS of the above only Dawes is even in the same league as a key forward.

Gee dc you are getting back a bit and they did not go to VFL clubs and in the case of DW he came back and played in the 64 flag. Hell that seems a long time ago even when I say it.

Who could blame them dc. The first two got to play in GF's something they would never had done at the MFC at the time. They were also in the twilight of there career's. They had given the MFC great service.

May have something to do with the fact he is up to now the only really good one that left H_T.

Yes it does! but I think this weekend the difference is they have as better list than the one we have available. Not sure how we are getting to Renmark but it must be a lot harder than a 250 km bus ride from Adelaide. Seems the odds are stacked against us.

Free agency is a subject we are all new to. I think we have to get used to a lot of players ( particularly at poorer Clubs ) changing teams. I have no doubt both players will give us grief in April. They are both better than average and will want to show they are better than what the MFC thought. Both will also look better in a better team when they are not expected to win games off their own boots. Prepare for the pain on 28th April. But that is the way of the new world.

Not surprised he has probably not run out of sight in the past 8 months. It is hard to imagine seeing him in the seniors this side of May
