  1. That covers it fairly well demon25 You did forget tanking that we did not do
  2. For a few seconds I thought you meant the Jamie one. Thank god for small mercies
  3. There is always the chance of a lightning strike on a steer next door Bbo!!!!!
  4. Is that the same passion created by five years in the bottom 6 with two last finishes. Probably clouds our judgement a wee bit. But most of the time those results are created by having a large group of crap players. You do not need to be a rocket scientist to work out why have have been cellar dwellers for most of the last decade
  5. I reckon they have till April 2nd. Then our minds should be made up. Only joking
  6. I had forgotten that trio. Up till now two of them could not muster a healthy body between them. The up side DemonWA is they have shown brief pieces of talent. This year is make or break for all three I would think. Any more serious injury and it may be goodnight nurse.
  7. I understand that RobbieF Coles or West Farmers Just different pockets in the same jacket.
  8. Cannot imagine you will get much disagreement on that one rpfc
  9. I am not suggesting you don't defend Grimes Sat. I was just railing against constant personal attacks that have little to do with the thread. I don't mind what position any one holds about almost any subject. But slagging each other off is like two little kids in primary school calling each other names. Surely we are a little above that level.
  10. dc I am involved in the supplier to Coles industry among other things. They are the greatest bunch of pricks this side of the black stump. I would not buy from Coles if they were the last insurance company on Earth. Rather drive around uninsured than give them $1. And RobbieF don't touch them with a 100ft. barge pole. PS that is the only way to keep the price down. Keep changing company's.
  11. I think I have had my share bagging some from both groups stuie. IMO in 2007 we had a poor group of experienced senior players, during the bailey era we seemed to put onto our list wave after wave of kids and the expense of older players. The result by 2012 was very few good senior players and a whole bunch of kids. A large number of those kids have proved to be not up to the job and a few that are left have not shown to be what was hoped so far. I think there are couple left that won't make it and a few that will be good players at best. Our list has a long way to go yet. At the start of 2013 I hope I am surprised but I do not see one "game changer" amongst the list. Lets hope a few surprise me. I think we will see another large number of changes at the end of this year and some you suggest will be for the high jump. The hardest part is watching this progression because the last 5 years have been the most painful I have witnessed for the majority of the last 48 years. And I think that explains why a number of demonlanders are so frustrated with our lack of improvement. Someone is to blame and it is not us out here on the outside of the fence.
  12. Stuie after the last six years it is fairly evident that at the end of 2012 we had what maybe the worst list in the AFL. That being the case there were not many on the list we could describe as good and above. So it was not hard to find poor players. Grimes is one of our better players, where he is best played is the $64 question. I think off the half back line but while we have very few midfield players I think he will be played there for better or worse.
  13. I agree with you DemonWA but I don't think he is a midfield player. I think he is being used there because we have bugger all alternatives.
  14. God this constant bickering is boring guys. Can we all leave our problems in the bottom draw and discuss Grimes. I don't care how much you dislike each other. Forlorn hope I suppose
  15. I have no idea what it was this time last year hardtack but I expect a bit higher. I think low 30's might be the total this year. We badly need to win games 1,2 and 4 to have any hope of getting above 35K IMO
  16. perhaps a neck collar!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Olisik The second language of the AFL is lying. The first law of Clubs is never tell the truth about injuries. I can never understand quite why but there you have it. I noticed he had not played since round 1 and assumed there was on injury. The way he plays suggests to me that he is going to get injured quite often. I think he should be played sparingly in his first year for that reason.
