Any one notice the AFL has called all the Lions board and challengers to a meeting. I suspect they are going to end the war up there and run things similar to the dees. Do it this way guys or get out of town!

Anyone read the comments from Trengove in today's HUN? Basically says he would like to remain captain but will take a lesser role if that helps the club. Sounds like a great attitude I suspect we will have a new single captain next year who will be a little older than the current duo.

Perhaps the new coach is at the club now and has been for some time!

CB I could handle that sort of success rate.50% champions and 50% failure. Sure beats 10% average players and 90% failures. Might have a little to do with the selectors do you think?

I hate to agree, but I think our chances this year are slim. Players will not want to come to us until we show some improvement. Maybe next year if Roos can instil some confidence into our existing players. Who would want to come to a team who gets thrashed every second week. Second week?

I am fairly confident from family and friends who live up his way that the family are not rocket scientists!

Well I have to say it feels good looking forward to watching two games this weekend and not really caring who wins. I will just enjoy the games for their own sake. Complete calm and enjoyment. Would I swap this for the gut wrenching feelings when your own team is involved? In a heart beat to see the Dees in a PF. I hope I have enouigh of them left to see it happen again. But what the hell. Go Hawks!
