IMO neither have the aerobic capacity for modern AFL.neither play out standing games at VFL level. I doubt they will be on our list in 2015 but who knows Roos might work a miracle.

If the situations were reversed and we had played in three grand finals in the last ten years and won two of them and just played in a PF I would be deliriously happy. I live for the day other teams want to poach half our organisation.

I have quite a few, trouble is with a couple of exceptions they barrack for Hawthorn, Richmond, Essendon, Brisbane and Collingwood. Don't help much when you have lost ten in a row by an average margin of ten goals. The worst part is they don't even laugh any more They just change the subject when I appear and talk about cricket, motor racing, horses anything but football. I am well over it I need their hate!

I heard an interesting comment from a keen Richmond friend of mine today on a certain DM. He said look at the number of games he kills them till half time them drops off dramatically in the second half. He claims this happens most weeks. Also claims it is the direct result of his "Life style" Hmm that seems to fit a lot of the rumors!

I don't disagree with you Sue and no I will never barrack for the Melbourne saints or the St Kilda Demons of the Tasmanian Demons or the GWS Demons or anything other than the MFC. No MFC will be no AFL for me. And yes we are still a possibility to not exist by 2018. But we do not have a PP so lets get serious about what we do have and ensure we all have a team to follow in 2018

I think we should talk about the figure and not the percentage here. He was getting paid $400,000+ to coach their Squad. That is very big biscuits for coaching effectively a Thirds squad. The SFC want to cut that to $200,000 which I still think is a very good figure considering the actual job to be done. If that helped get him to the dees then great but IMO $400k was way over the odds for the job.

I agree 100% with the idea DL But it is way down the list of priorities. Start winning games and plenty of them and all sorts of things will come to pass. But the most vital thing is to start winning First , Middle and Last at present.

I pretty much agree with the above Robbie.I think we have stopped digging now. I will continue to do the small amount I can do. But if PJ, Roos and the new FD and board cannot get us winning games and being very competitive most weeks no one can. IMO we have two years to achieve that.

Think next decade dee-luded Right now the MFC is in survival mode. It is something to worry about when we are strong on and off the field.
