I agree with you RR Unfortunately I cannot yet throw off the effect that decades ( particularly the last one) of miserable performance on and off the field by the MFC have had on my brain.

Redleg the anti vote sites two things.We have had numerous early picks and Extra picks and have managed by bad selection and inability to develop players we have turned them all to crap. Not one "good" player is the result. Add we are where we are through bad management and tanking Why should all that be rewarded? That argument has some merit. I want an extra pick but I am not going to get overly disappointed if it does not happen. It is time we got on with making every post a winner and stop looking for the easy way out.

Both these guys were taken well ahead of when the "experts" predicted. We kept trying to pick diamonds from amongst the gravel. To do that you have to be very good as a recruiter. Clearly we were not that clever

Sorry I don't agree with you.If you pick poorly there is no amount of development that will turn a Cook or Gysberts into a good player. Our biggest problem over the last decade has been poor selection. It is very difficult to turn a sow's ear into a silk purse.

I agree rpfc in fact I think your six or seven is pushing the envelope.Four and a reduction in the floggings IMO is about the best we can hope for in 2014
