An extremely good question DF the only answer I can give is It cannot. The only way forward is the replacement of at least a dozen players IMO. Also add Clark and Dawes who are not physical up to AFL level stress. That is going to take another two draft periods. I hate to say this but last years draft selections are going have to take up more of the slack in 2015 than they should or the last two years results will continue. However things are looking up I am having a banana and peanut butter sandwich for lunch. Off to an amos game tomorrow. Good weekend ahead I expect.

I am confident that the only remedy is winning games.start winning in 2015 and my attention will return. right now I am in the dwindling phrase. Sad but probably over due.

There is no doubt that I have over the last two years been slowly disengaging from the MFC I no long have any expectation of winning, I went to less games in 2013 than 2012 I have been to one game this year and will not go until round 6 as I have other engagements and an interstate game this week. I do not get angry with losses any longer. This morning I turned on the computer and there were two emails from the MFC, as I was deleting them it occurred to me a seldom read emails from the MFC any more. The human brains ability to block out painful things is a wonderful thing. I suspect that if this year continues to follow the trend of the last two I will have stopped the hurt completely in six months time.

I don't think that is the case HFF.Remember you are on a fan site for the worst performing club this decade. People as desperate for early draft picks to show early form. So far over the last eight years 90% have been miserable failures. So when they look at Toumpas and they see less than wonderful they feel Oh no hear we go again. Of course it is not helped by the alternative pick tearing them up another club. I doubt there is one person on Demonland that wants him to fail. But some have severe doubts.

He should have been playing at Casey a lot in 2013 and this week TLEIn any one of the top 16 sides he would be.

Actually LDvC I was thinking of both.Not big wrap for JT I think he is an old fashion HF. Not much place for those in the modern game. Poor mid fielder IMO The only thing that has kept him in the 22 IMO was being captain last year and no one better to replace him. In almost all other sides he would playing VFL right now.

The major difference that I see is that Dunn did have a number of good games over the journey up till 2013. Blease I remember one good game and the odd quarter, Tapscott I remember a couple good halves in his first year and with Strauss the best that I can remember is the odd dependable game. I have never seen him play a game that I would rank in the top five MFC players. Even at Casey they appear average players, there have been games when Blease has made it into the top three but never seen that with the other two.

IMO P-man they are already gone, three miracles needed and we all know how long it is between single miracles.There is a better chance we will see Clark playing in 2014.

Barry is average from my view hardly VFL standard at this point. Salem is a kid please let him have some time with Casey, we don't need another kid battered by playing to early at AFL level.

But anyway it is a bit of fun and I have enjoyed a chance to discuss a matter concerning the MFC that is little hearted and entertaining.
