Old is a relative word I think I am old but ten years ago I thought people my age were ancient. I don't think I am old mentally but the body has been around long enough to tell me I am old. My first MFC game was in 1960 and I was going to school so that might give you some idea. Now can we get a fight up on that basis probably not you young [censored]!

I know I am not the only one . For the first time in my life I really don't care who the MFC picks or drops for next week's game. Never thought I would have this level of care. Strange to feel this level of detachment from next weeks game.

I don't disagree with you General but I have little idea of what the player agreement is in this area. The MFC because of his mental problems may feel obliged to give a little more than that.

Correct DeeZee How many of the current team would you go to watch just to see them play? Even our best player in Jones is not in that class.

I think he has rjay and it works. Got Casey into the top four in 2013 and as usual was robbed of his MFC players. No idea if he would be a good AFL coach but he seems to know how to get the best from his players. In the couple of Casey games I saw and a couple on TV I saw in 2013 and then yesterday. I think given an even break he could snag an VFL flag. The guy is no dill. Now is he on the same page as PR? Don't know but one would image he would not keep his job if he said We did not win or make the finals but I did what PR told me. Also interesting that a couple of the line coaches eg. Brad Miller are from the MFC so one would think they are towing the basic PR line. PS Miller looked like he could have pull on the boots and played yesterday. In very good nick.

A good question RtG the match sheet did not show him But his number was supposed to be 64 There was a guy playing in 64 however he did look like Salem to me ( however I have only seen him once in Training attire). I don't think he played. If he was in 64 then he put in an average performance at best. I hope it was not Salem

He made a couple of errors but who doesn't. I think he should be in the seniors next week It is not as though there are no spots up for grabs.

And we had a few players like Robert Flower who were worth going to see on his own. Also we were not on the bottom every year some years we got close to playing finals. It was a final four in the seventies so fifth or sixth was not the crap we have endured the last decade. A number of years we were still in the hunt come July not have the season over in mid April.

Yesterday when it really mattered he took a mark in the middle of a pack and then goaled. Someone forgot to tell him he should not have been able to do that. Sometimes I think at AFL level we have taken all the initiative out of the players. They think I should not go for this mark it is the KF forwards responsibility. I was told to wait for the ball to split out that is my job.
